  • Not worth it
One tracker actually came defective and overall, the time I spent trying to connect it to my phone just for basic setup without the trackers disconnecting every 30 seconds- only to find that out was very alarming. The whole gimmick is that it’s supposed to be more versatile to set up/use, but I’ve never been so frustrated with a product before in my life. Would not recommend. ... show more

  • Not worth it at all.
They are more expensive than Slimes, and the janky phone app they use makes them less reliable. The set-up is also unbelievably bad, If you want to just use these for VRChat good luck lmao they won’t even find your headset. And if you think you want to try using as them as Slimes don’t bother, Slime VR isn’t compatible with them regardless of what Sony advertises, I know because Sony support straight up told me so instead of helping troubleshoot. ... show more

  • More set than expected.
I got this for VTubing not for VR chat, from what the description’s have mentioned it was supposed to be an easy set up, but it is not. If you want the short of skip all the way to the end. First you need to pay a $5 subscription fee to use the actual app and not just check the thing is functional. If you are just planning on only recording on your phone then yes, this is perfectly easy to set up as mentioned, but if you plan on using it on PC or streaming… you have to install Unity, Unreal, or MotionBuilder and then download the plugin software, and then you have to code. You also better make sure your pc’s firewall is not blocking the network connection between the pc and the smartphone app especially if you are using an IPhone. You also need to have 2 smartphones, not just one. After that I am not sure because I gave up after having to figure out all the side quests to learn how to even install my character into unity. Patience and a very strong willingness to learn is required to set this up. Only to find out it works out way better if you buy a slimeVR set as well or otherwise your avatar slides all over the place. Long story short. This is best for recording videos on your phone with a subscription fee and that’s it. Not good for streaming or VR unless you already have several softwares installed, multiple phones and know what you’re doing. ... show more

  • It's alright
The app is alright but the actual trackers its drifty

  • Don't recommend for vr
The media could not be loaded. I bought these for my vr, but anytime I tried to use them my tracking wouldn't be correct in game. It was constantly switching between the default standing pose and where my trackers actually were. The glitching only showed up in game, not on my computer or phone, so these are definitely better for something like Vtubing and not vr games. ... show more

  • They work sometimes....
Got these for my son and husband to use and they were super excited. The set is really nice and well packaged, comes with 6 sensors, headband and extension bands, waist clip and a charging case. The issue with this set are the sensors don't always work right and can be laggy, and they don't always pick up on your movement and if they do it's late. It doesn't always happen, but it definitely happens more than it should. Also setting them up was such a pain and took quite a long time to figure out. I've never seen my husband so frustrated before trying to figure something out. My husband still tries them every one in awhile, sometimes they work pretty good and sometimes they don't. For being so expensive and being a Sony product, we expected better. ... show more

  • Excellent battery life but can be tricky to set up in a way that functions with pcvr properly
I bought my set about a year ago from Sony's website. I originally got them for standalone quest usage, but they were very finnicky about working or pairing with any devices I used. Fast forward a few months to when I obtained my first gaming pc and after quite a lot of research into the matter, I discovered I could connect them to my main pc by using my raspberry pi 4 as a controller/receiver. After a couple days working on getting everything set up I had it all up and running, currently I would say these trackers are better than slime trackers at positioning and the battery life is excellent, but it can be complicated to get them to function properly. Personally, I like them even if setting them up was a pain and a half at first. Another thing I should point out is that over time the tracking will get worse due to wear and tear, as I used to only need to reset yaw a few times a day to resetting yaw and doing full recalibrations at least once every half hour. ... show more

  • It works, but syncing too frequently is a bit of a pain.
It's a good intro to sensors, but sometimes it doesn't always pick up my positioning properly and when it shows walking motions, it shows me Crouch down instead of upright position. I still haven't used this on my PC but when used with my phone it works decently. I do think it does forget the positioning a little bit too frequently and syncing it, while easy, can be a pain to work with more than once in the same session. The app is pretty good, I actually have no complaints with the app itself besides the subscription fee, but it's very customizable. ... show more
