I have in ceiling speakers which I never liked—it always sounded like it was under water. Instead of buying 3 pairs of new ceiling speakers (which could f*** up your ceiling and aren’t as good as bookcase speakers) I decided to go with the Sonos Era 300. Two speakers have replaced 3 pairs. I also checked out the Apple HomePod and Mini but the Sonos speakers had great sound quality reviews and lots of flexibility. BTW, I thought the Apple HomePod Mini sounded fuzzy, like it was under water. I can use Apple Airplay to easily play anything that’s on my iPhone or iPad, or use the Sonos app to play radio or steaming platforms like Amazon Music and Sirius. I’m also really enjoying the “Hey Sonos” verbal commands, though Siri is quite confused and thinks I’m speaking to her. I listen to music a lot more now because it is so easy and sounds great. I added these speakers to my sound bar and sub as the rear speakers surround sound and let me tell you wow, just wow! It made an already amazing sound system 100% better! I did run into a problem where the sound was cutting in and out, but found a solution, due to my sound bar and sub being hardwired via the ethernet port I needed to enable Wi-Fi in the sub and sound bar settings, and it fixed the issue! These are a 1000% amazing upgrade, and if you're on the fence about adding these to your set-up, do yourself a favor and pull the trigger! ... show more

It amplified everything little sounds ooh love it and i had some issues with connect it all in one system (the beam, the mini sub woffer and move 2) called customer service of SONOS and they helped me step by step till I become a pro definitely recommend it's expensive but worth it i bought the second hand but it's like a new you will save money 💰 ... show more

AVOID SONOS!!! Buy Apple Speakers instead (I do not receive any money from these products) I've been using your speakers for about 2 months now... TERRIBLE: They spontaneous and dramatically increase the volume which has caused multiple neighbor complaints to be submitted against me. G**gle the reviews elsewhere: this is a COMMON problem!!! They jump to MAX VOLUME without warning! (when you're sleeping, in the shower or away from home! Can you imagine?) The music never resumes from where you left off. Even my 2012 Volkwagen performs that option better! They often do NOT pair with my iPhone or iPad. You have to struggle with your Bluetooth connection or the TERRIBLE Sonos app. Your app is average at best as the system never engages the 3 speakers I own. Their app is so bad, they keep retooling it and re-releasing it! That's a bad sign! Check those reviews too! This is 2024! Something as expensive as your speakers should be effortless. AVOID THIS SYSTEM. And by the way, Amazon was NO HELP and even their supervisor ("Andrew") told me I was "outta luck" and had to keep them! Then I contacted the seller through Amazon: guess what? Their phone number is disconnected. Then I contacted Sonos: "SORRY, you have to go through Amazon because we didn't sell them to you!" Oh yeah? so you gave them to Amazon for FREE??? We bought a Beam (gen 2) soundbar and an Era 300 on sale recently. While the instructions are clear, he This would be 5 stars except the APP is glitchy and not as intuitively user friendly ( unless you're a software engineer!). During initial setup the AP stopped with error message "unable to register product." After 3 attempts (two hours) it stayed with the message. FORTUNATELY , we had a friend of our neighbors who worked for Sonos and he was great at walking through it - finally had to do factory reset on both units and then was able to proceed. Did advanced tuning for each room - and the sound quality of these units is unbelievably good. We had a small portable Bose speaker - this is a long overdue step up! Once set up you wont regret it!
