I used to have a receiver attached to 7 speakers. I was tired of messing with all of the unsightly cables and decided to go with a Sonos Arc. The Arc can process Dolby Atmos better than other soundbars, but it's not really an immersive sound. Here is where the Sonos Era 300 come in. I added two and paired them with the ARC and the sound is unbelievable. I hear sound coming from the front, sides and above--the immersive feel I was looking for without the mess of cables. Of course, to play Atmos, the source must be recorded in that format. If not, you will likely end up playing Dolby 5.1--which still sound great on these speakers. ... show more

It's not great sounding at all. It is okay at best. Getting it working is next to impossible. It will nit work directly from source with Bluetooth. You must run ir through an app that is supported and then it's a time consuming task to get it to pair every time. I have purchased and downloaded my library...it may work better with a streaming service but for the monet it should be more compatible. ... show more

Love listening to music again. The voice interface is so convenient with iPad app for more advanced selections. The sound is wonderful. we were glad to get rid of our receiver, wired speakers, etc. We bought two to sync between kitchen and living room/family room. Curvy and lovely--so if either of those adjectives fills your cup'a tea, this may be the speaker for you. Oh, and the sound quality? Funny you should ask. The sound is okay. Actually quite nice. But not great. Sadly, the Sonos Era 300 won't replace our Sonos Five, which has a beefier bass and sweeter everything else. As for spatial audio, which I was so looking forward to--yeah, bit of a let down. Tried multiple tracks with the speaker placed in a variety of locations within our listening room, and it just didn't create that wondrous immersive experience I'd been expecting. I don't blame Sonos for this disappointment. They're leading us toward something new, which is a good thing. I might be convinced to point a finger at their marketing and advertising team. Oh, and if this is your first outing with Sonos, brace yourself for the minor chaos presently wrapped around the Sonos app. A temporary setback, I'm sure. To scratch my spatial itch, I'll consider getting a second Five. They pair nicely, and can create a broad and welcoming soundstage--which may be just enough space for these ears. ... show more
