I bought these through the warehouse because I need a boot that is not too expensive but the lining covers the entire footbed not just the ankle. While these are not the cutest boot in my opinion they are ok looking and they ARE fur lined thoughout the footbed and toe area so hopefully my frozen foot problem will Not be a problem this winter. It is not cold or snowed yet in my part of the country so I cannot speak to their effectiveness yet however I do question the lacing being so long about the waterproofness of the front of the boot. I will spray them with waterproofer just in case. I will love them if they keep my Poor Frozen Feet warm as I suspect they will. I did have to buy a size up and they fit perfect.     • Excellent non slip winter boot!
These boots are great! I needed snow boots for a trip Alaska in the winter and only pair of weather resistance boots I had were not insulated. So they were also a replacement for those for the occasional Seattle snow storm. I also broke my ankle 5 months prior and was paranoid about slipping so a boot that wouldn’t slip was a requirement. The slip resistance on this boots was great! I highly recommend them for that aspect. My husband has a named brand boot that starts with an S and he slipped at least 4 times that I saw. I didn’t slip once! Even when he was sliding in the road on purpose I could not get these boots to slide. Warmth: The temperatures ranged from 0 to -5 while we were there. We took a few walks around 45 minutes and one long snowmobile ride. I wore a pair of compression socks and a pair of thick winter socks and my feet never got cold on our walks. My husbands did and he had the same sock situation. My toes did get cold on the 6 hour snowmobile ride though. And I attribute that to, no movement in my feet, so decreased blood flow, and it was 6 hours. I put some toe warmers in and while they didn’t really warm up much they didn’t get any colder either. Really just the “on the verge of being uncomfortable” feeling. Size and Comfort: I normally wear a 9 and ordered a 9. I ordered another pair that was similar but returned them because the toe box was smaller and didn’t leave room for warm socks. These fit a little loose without the thick winter sock but it wasn’t uncomfortable to walk around with them like that either. ... show more

    • Would totally buy these again. Great snow boot.
This product by far exceeded my expectations for a pair of $35 snow boots. A general list of pros/cons: Pros: - very warm; w/ faux fur lining, my feet stayed toasty hiking thru 18-24” of snow; no snow got in the boots - rubber exterior kept my feet dry - could not have been more comfortable. I was concerned about not having time to break them in before hiking, but within 10-15 min these boots felt like they were made for my feet Cons: - felt too small initially (ordered half size up from reg. shoe size) but then after a day of wearing them, the faux fur lost some of its fluff and they then seemed a little big. This wasn’t really an issue bc it allowed me to wear larger socks without my feet feeling too snug in the shoe. So it wasn’t really a con for me, but could be for someone else bc unless you kept them to break them in, you wouldn’t really know either way how they would fit your feet in the long run. - they scuff easy. I didn’t scrape them against anything, but somehow brown scuff marks the same color as the top part of the shoe showed up on the bottom rubber part. Not a huge deal, but less than ideal. - bulky. These shoes felt quite heavy and looked very chunky. Again, I was wearing these for hiking, so fashion was not my main concern. But for those wanting for fashion, they look big on your feet and I have small feet. Overall, for $35...I couldn’t imagine a better shoe. ... show more

    • Poor design and construction
I feel obligated to write this review. I purchased these boots on Dec 18th, 2020. They arrived very fast, through prime, on the 20th. Right out of the box they seemed excellent. The fabric materials used are seemingly high quality, the faux fur lining in the shift of the boot was super soft. No weird smell. The quilting on the outside was beautiful. Upon trying them on they were firstly entirely too big in the width and toe area. Almost comically so, but I thought that I could learn to ignore that if they were comfy and easy to put on. However, they are cumbersome to put on. The tongue of the boot is not attached along the sides and it moves around as you walking while trying to tighten the laces. Tightening the laces is just super annoying because they slip as you try to get them right, which moves the tongue. Also, if you have a nice shapely calf the boot looks *goofy* around your ankle. I mean goofy. Like you have the worlds largest cankles. Still I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and took them on a test walk around the block with my dog. I hadn't walked for more then 15 minutes before I had a sudden stabbing pain on the backs of my ankles. (Now remember what I mentioned above about the shaft of the boot looking goofy.) Where the fabric shaft of the boot meets the hard rubber(?) foot of the boot the faux fur lining and padding stops. The result is that the hard shell cut into the tendon on the back of the ankle. Not a blister. I mean it literally cut into my ankle, even after attempting 2x mid walk to adjust my thick socks and pants to cover and provide a buffer. I was limping by the time I got home. Its been 4 days and my ankle still hurts. So, what I am trying to say is that the construction of this boot is questionable at best and can cause (did in my case) actual injury. Please be careful when considering these. I can not say if I just got a bad pair or what but I returned them the same day I received them. How can a boot be simultaneously too big and manage to cut into my ankle and also be cumbersome to put on?! ... show more
