Smaller than I thought but was super easy to install and came with screws and wall plugs to hold it in place. It came charged so I was able to test it out right away. Once installed it has several settings for the brightness of the light bulb. I selected the brightest as the other settings seemed a little dim but I guess that was their purpose. I later decided that rather than have it respond to motion I wanted continuous light and once I pressed the light button 3 times it shifted to a continuous nice amber light that was still acceptable. I like the idea that it is solar powered so my front porch is lit and I don’t have to pay for electricity to do it. I tested out how it responds to motion and it is very sensitive. However, I have a wiener dog who is pretty low to the ground and it did not pick her up so the motion detector assumes a certain height. I am VERY pleased with the product and thinking about getting a couple more for my van when I go camping as a motion detector because the set-up is so easy, it works well, the price is very reasonable. ... show more

THIS PRODUCT IS LISTED ON THE SALES PAGE AS A 4 PACK. IT IS NOT. IT IS ACTUALLY A 2 PACK. Installation is easy, requiring only 2 screws. As with all solar powered products, the wall lamp must be mounted in the sunlight. There is no remote control. Before mounting the lamp out of reach, choose one of the three lighting modes: Mode 1 OFF-BRIGHT-OFF. The light stays off all night. When motion is detected, the light will go to 100% brightness and stays lit for 15 seconds after activity ceases. Mode 2 DIM-100%-DIM. The light stays dim unless motion is detected. Otherwise, the lamp acts the same as in mode 1. Mode 3 NO MOTION DETECTION. The lamp stays dim all night. At the brightest setting, the wall lamp generates an impressive 600 lumens. My light meter app got a reading of 1942 LUX. There is a 120° sensor angle, and an induction distance between 16-26 feet. The 1800mAh battery should be able to supply enough energy to power through a few cloudy days. The lamp is rated IP44, meaning it is waterproof, heat resistant, frost resistant, and wind resistant. I really like these, but only gave 3 stars as I only got 2 lights instead the 4 the description said. I have reached out to the seller and if they reply and ship the other 2, I would raise the stars. These are working great for my intended purpose of (hopefully) scaring off critters at night that are attempting to get near my chicken coop. These styles of lights look great around my chicken coop posts. Very easy install – 2 screws and you’re done. I was surprised that some were already charged and started working on motion detection mode. These are all plastic – lightweight plastic and they might not even tip a half a pound on the scale. With that said, I’m still providing 4 stars because: I received four, they were about 7 bucks a piece (so pretty much disposable), breeze of installation and functionality for my intended purpose. ... show more

These little solar-powered lights look small on our 12’ x 8’ shed but that’s on me as I didn’t look closely at the size of the lights in the product description. They are easy to install. Two screws on the top flange hold the light in place. I used stainlees steel screws from my workshop to eliminate rust streaks. (I’ll dab some exterior grade black paint on the heads so they don’t stand out so much.) The three setting are useful. Right now we have them set on setting 2 which is a low light level that switches to high when it sense motion. Overall the product is well built and sold at a fair price. Light was ready right out of the box. Came with everything needed. Came with actual instructions that you can easily read! No little card written with the smallest print. Super easy to set up. It looks nice & it puts out a lot of light for it's size. The motion detector works well. It's all plastic, so I don't know how long it will actually last with the weather.
