Comes with a lot of extras and it DOES CONTAIN FLUX. Everything is great and the iron is good and has tempature adjustment. The only gripe I have to the iron holder is just bent metal so once bent cant be put back in the bag. Youll have to make your own.

In my opinion, this kit includes everything you need to get started with soldering. I bought this with the intention to use it as a backup, as my main iron was lost. I also wanted a kit with a multimeter, as I wanted to keep the iron, and meter in a single case. The iron works great, and the spare tips will really come in handy. The only con I can see is that the cord on the iron doesn't have an inline on/off switch, which I've grown accustomed to. That, and I would have liked to see more solder included in the kit, but for the price, it is not an issue. The multimeter alone is valued at $10, so the value on this kit is really good. ... show more

Although I haven’t used it yet upon arrival, the case was very well made, and the items inside were nicely organized. I have ordered products, babe made by plusivo before and the quality has always been good. The multimeter has a nice thick rubber exterior and it comes with the very basic attachments, but they will get the job done for the price. I have had this soldering iron for about 2 to 3 years now and it has served me well for the price it is actually really good i thought i would use it one time then trash it but it heats up fast just i would recommend getting a pack of replacement tips for the soldering iron the multimeter i was also using it for a long time but i broke it recently but overall the whole kit was really good. ... show more

The kit is nicely packaged and contains many items you might need on your entry level soldering job with one exception The iron does not get hot enough to melt solder. I bought this to replace my Xbox one joystick sensor, but the iron is not hot enough to melt the solder in the controller. Even after applying the solder paste/flux and putting some of the low melt solder onto it, the iron is severely underpowered to the point of being useless. Ended up destroying several traces on the daughter board due to the iron not getting hot enough requiring me to attempt to leave the iron on the area longer, resulting in damage to the board... This is like a dull knife in the kitchen, much more dangerous than a sharp knife, except it's a low heat iron. Spend more on a higher quality iron. ... show more
