  • Great solder but Ts101 is better
"I have to admit, I've tried the M18 T12 soldering station and this M12. While the M12 is definitely worth having in your toolbox, I find using the USB that came with the TS101 and a small Anker power station heats it up super fast with temperature control. I have all three, and I would definitely keep the M12 as it heats up quickly and is useful on the go. However, the TS101 is a must-have, especially when using the flexible and lightweight USB cable that came with it. With this setup, it's super easy to control and can run at 21-20V using a small Anker 100w power station. ... show more

  • Great product
Heats up quickly, good control. Easy on the hand to operate. Have used quite a bit over the last two months. Like the “hot” warning light that lets you know the tip (iron) is still hot. Very happy with this Milwaukee product.

  • Old milwaukee's best
This soldering iron works. Great, it's lightweight, flexible. Gets hot fast.

  • Hard to beat
What is not to like about this Soldering device. From the rotating head to the illumination on the work that you are soldering, this thing is almost perfect. If only it was a tad bit smaller i think id be in love. Value is pretty standard to other devices in the same category. One thing i hope they eventually add to these in later models would be the ability to change temperature, as well as a temperature display. Not being able to control that is its only flaw i would say. But I still give it 9.5/10 ... show more

  • A Cordless Soldering Iron….Yessss!!
I love the freedom of no cord on this soldering iron!! It is also awesome that my Milwaukee batteries and charger work perfectly with this tool!! It also heats up fast, and is easy to handle.

  • works for small stuff
this is a great little portable soldering iron, very convenient, heats up and cools down fast, but not very hot, works well for small stuff, but probably not great for anything bigger than 14 or 16 gauge

  • Exceeded expectations for a battery gun
In was skeptical about a battery powered soldering gun, but as always Milwaukee exceeded my expectations. Comes to temperature very fast, within 1 minutes. The power trigger locks on which is awesome, temperature stays in the tip, just remember to unlock when finished.

  • it gets hot
works as designed, it gets hot and melts solder
