At first I LOVED these lights absolutely no question. As with everything you realize what could be better or different after a few weeks. I still love these lights. They were easy to install. Until I decided where I wanted them permanently I used command mini hooks to hang them. It worked perfectly on helping me determine where I permanently wanted them. However sometimes the motion on a few of them are not triggered. Sometimes a couple of them don’t come on at all. Its not so much a problem because I have purchased enough that the others take up the slack most of the time. I have also noticed when they don’t come on at all, they will sometimes get triggered with motion. I thought there were only 3 settings and I had them all set the same so I am not sure what that is about. They do not burn all night but I do not get full sun all day. That would have been helpful to know when considering purchase. For the price, these are still amazing and I am still very happy with my purchase. I am planning to get more to go all the way around my fence. They still do what I need them to do. I originally purchased to see at the back of my fence especially when I let my dogs out. Sometimes they have critter encounters or other dangers so I need to be able to see them. The motion helps me see quickly exactly where they are. However when we have a lot of rain (especially several days in a row) I have to go back to using flashlights as these lights do not function well without at least some full sun. This 6 pack is awesome. Great price and pretty long lasting. Every few years or so I buy another to replace my older lights when the solar panel degrades. These little lights are inexpensive, so like a set of disposable holiday lights strand, i install them, let mother nature do her best to destroy them, enjoy how much light they give off for the deck at night, and update as needed. Added 6 to my backyard fence and 2 above my front door and they seem to work great! It should be noted that they give off a more bluish/cooler toned hue. I wish they projected a warmer toned light, but I can't really complain! It's only been a few days but so far so good! Easy to install, motion detection seems good, no complaints yet! I'll follow up with updates as time goes on but for the price, these are fantastic and they do the job! UPDATE 9/29/23: I have had issues where it simply won’t light up. I scroll thru the different modes and only then will it light up. Mind you, the lights are placed so they are not easily accessible so no one is messing with the settings. It’s just odd that even with a full day of direct sun, sometimes it just doesn’t work until I scroll through the different light modes. Also I got 2 above my front door and that area gets sunlight throughout the day, but at night, the intensity is non existent. The ones in my backyard are so bright but the ones in the front barely illuminate the area. Not sure why. I even tried switching out the front and back units, but it’s the same issue; the front ones don’t seem to be as powerful, but again, they get enough sunlight during the day so I don’t know what the issue is. ... show more
