I really wanted to love these lights and when I first installed them it was great. After less than a month of use though they are less than serviceable. One works most of the time, but the other doesn't hold a charge long enough to even make it through one hour of sporadic use. So, basically, if you don't have constantly sunny days these aren't worth it. And since I can't contact the seller directly I can't get these exchanged. I need lights where I have these installed, so I'll be looking for better quality replacements. ... show more

Light works as described. The solar part came off while installing. I was able to repair with some black electrical tape. Suggest if you are considering this item. Spend a few dollars more and get a well built light. I did and the higher priced items work fine but wanted to try a lower priced item in the Pool area. I now have two lights side by side. AFTER INSTALLING THIS LIGHT AND WAITING TEN HOURS FOR IT TO CHARGE, IT DID NOT PICK UP MOTION. I WAS GOING TO RETURN IT IN THE MORNING. I UNINSTALLED IT AND TOOK IT INTO MY DARK GARAGE IN THE EARLY MORNING. IT CAME ON AND WORKED AS DESCRIBED. APPARENTLY TEN HOURS IN THE SUN WAS NOT ENOUGH. IF YOU BUY ONE OF THESE GIVE IT AT LEAST TWELVE HOURS TO CHARGE. IT HAS MANY SETTINGS, SO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. I AM HAPPY WITH WITH IT. ... show more
