When this arrived, it was really heavy. My 11 year old daughter is in a phase where she prefers to sleep on the chase from our couch and doesn't want to have the top bunk in her bedroom anymore. So I found this...I get my Chase back, and she doesn't have to sleep on the top bunk. I opened the box prepared to sit for an hour assembling the thing. Pulled out the directions (it comes with instructions) and the first line I read was "No assembly required". OOOHH Yeeeaaaaa, SCORE. So I unfolded it...and we all took turns sitting on it, laying on it, and ooh and awwing over how soft the material is and how pretty the pink color is. I almost wanted to keep it for myself because it's comfortable, functional, and saves so much space. The fabric even had magnets to keep the side panels in place on the frame!! My daughter absolutely LOVES this. She uses it as a recliner when she's relaxing and gaming. At night she lays it down, and during the day sometimes she folds it up and uses it to sit on at her desk. It even comes with the pink throw pillow and she adores it. My other kids are jealous and want one too lol. ... show more

I needed a small, comfortable, nice looking sleeper for my mother’s 2 week stay. Since my husband is working three days from home now our guest room/office wasn’t going to work. So I decided to use our den/laundry room also as a guest room. Now my predicament was what can I buy that doesn’t take up much space, can be used for sitting when not in use, looks nice and is comfortable for her or any guest to sleep on. So I came across this ottoman/sleeper and read the positive reviews and decided to order the dark grey. Delivery was on time just as stated. Since there is no assembly required the box is a bit big, however surprisingly it wasn’t at all that heavy. Can’t lift and carry but certainly Can push it without any problem. Unpacking was a breeze. It comes with a matching pillow that can be used for sleeping and as a decorative lumbar pillow when you use it as a lounging chair. If not you can store the pillow in between the cushions when folding the ottoman which I thought was very convenient. I love that you can set it in 4 different ways. I bought a twin size comforter and mattress protector and both fit perfectly. The twin sheet though, not so much, it’s not fitted but will do for the time being. So what did my mom think about the new guest bed? She loved it! She said that she had slept like a baby. She liked that it was sturdy, cushions not too soft just the right firmness and comfortable for her. The material is nice, it is very well done. I have only had this a few days. It's been tested by my granddaughter and she says it's comfortable to sleep on. And it folds up easily when not needed into an ottoman. It has removable covers that will.make itn easy to clean. It's rather firm which is a plus in my opinion. The only negative is, its not meant for tall people for sleeping and it sits kind of low to the ground when using as a chair. Price wise and versatility? A hell of a deal ... show more

This thing is super sturdy and durable and way more comfortable than I expected. It has withstood kids, dogs, and cats. The material is easy to clean and able to withstand a lot. It has come in very handy as a quick, small bed, for my guests!

I ordered this as I’m having extra guests staying overnight. I was thrilled that it was even better than the reviewers reported. (The piece was unfortunately delivered almost a week earlier than the expected date, when I wasn’t home. I tried to change the delivery date but even after calling Amazon customer service two days in a row, it was waiting for me on the porch when I arrived 2 days after it came. Luckily I have wonderful neighbors who watched out that it wasn’t taken.) When I opened the box, the color of the ottoman was exactly as pictured online. Yay! As described, it was fully assembled and came with clear instructions on how to open the ottoman to a chair, a lounger, and a bed. I slept on it last night. I’m a short, older, full-figured woman and was very comfortable. Although it’s lower than my regular bed I was easily able to rise from it even with my soon-to-be-replaced knee. I enjoy a firm mattress and found the ottoman firm yet not hard. I could easily turn and change position during the night and it was plenty wide enough for a restful night’s sleep. One of my neighbors stopped by today and saw what had been in the box. I believe that she may be ordering one for her family to use when they visit! What dismayed and angered me about the unexpected and unwanted early delivery has faded since the product is so good. But I do hope not to have that same kind of experience again. ... show more

Well I’d love to say this unit was perfect but it’s definitely not. While it seems sturdy and well put together, it’s major flaw is the lack of comfort. Sitting on this thing is ok, but you don’t want to do it for long periods, especially not to read a book. If you have a visitor that you don’t like, this is the seating option for them. As for laying down, just don’t do it. Sleeping is a brutal punishment to the back even after adding a 3” memory foam topper. Not to mention this will only work for people that are in the shorter category. I really wish it had been more comfortable as it is wonderful to be able to fold it up and use it as an ottoman.
