Love it!!! Being a 300+ pound dude...I was a little worried about this hammock even though it has a 400 pound rating but I must say, it works beautifully. The hammock packs into it's own stuff sack...which fell off the first time I used it. The bag was poorly attached and I didn't really like the location anyway so I just resewed it to the hammock in a location more suited to me. I looked over the rest of the hammock and it's all triple sewn and the stitching is flawless. I'm not sure why the bag was so poorly attached....maybe somebody had a bad day at work. The hammock deploys in less than a minute. The para-cord suspension system is pretty simple and effective but a little hard on the tree bark as it bites right in. If you worried about the tree, you can use few sticks between the para-cord and the tree so the cord bites into the stick rather than the tree....or you can just give the tree a hug after using it to hold up your hammock. ;p I was pretty cautious the first couple times I got in the hammock. I jump right in now with no worries because I know it will support my weight. It's small and light and hardly takes up any room in my pack and it's my go to sleeping method when camping. ... show more

I was hesitant to buy it at first because I was unfamilliar with snugpak and had only really heard good things about eno's hammocks. But I was pleasantly surprised. This hammock is easy to set up/take down, is surprisingly resiliant to my abuse, and the compression sack makes it that much easier to fit in my (typically overstuffed) pack. I was so impressed with it that when I lost my tree straps I just ordered another hammock (only a little over $10 more than the eno slap straps and now I have a backup.) It's a great product that I would highly reccommend. ... show more

  • Great alternative to ENO
Color: *
Replaced the paracord loops at the ends with some dyneema(sp?) continuous loops I got off a buddy. Ditched those heavy Home Depot carabiners for some mad rock climbing biners and I run the Helios suspension from ENO. Badass setup. Took the place of my beat up old ENO doublenest. 5 stars because with the few mods it's still cheaper than the competition, and who doesn't like "customizing" their new stuff anyways? ... show more

  • Great Buy!

Love it! This is a great hammock to lounge around in and take on a incursion into the woods! Only thing is make sure you have extra paracord or other type of deal. The paracord is probably not good quality and will start to fray do to friction. I keeptwo extra lengths of paracord made in USA of course just in case the ones that come with do wear out. ... show more
