The upgraded Snugpak All Weather Shelter G2 was designed by experienced military veterans and outdoorsmen to ensure you benefit from the most versatile, practical features possible. The shelter is square, 10 feet by 10 feet, to offer plenty of protection for you and your equipment. The pack size is ideal of packing light; it weighs 2.2 pounds and is 9 inches by 5 inches by 3 inches when carried in its included case. Utilize your creativity to customize the All Weather Shelter’s configuration to your needs; set it up as a rainfly, tarp, lean-to shelter, emergency bivvi, or other free-standing shelter designs. To make an emergency bivvi, use the plastic snaps that line 2 opposite sides to snap the shelter together. The All Weather Shelter G2 is equipped with reinforced corners with grommets and nylon webbing tabs along the center spine and along the sides. It also comes with 4 adjustable guy ropes that measure 10 feet long each and 8 ultra lightweight aluminum alloy stakes so you can set up your shelter in the best configuration for your situation. The All Weather Shelter G2 is a practical, customizable solution to emergencies, inclement weather, and wild camps.

I've been using this tarp quite a bit since 2016; the original, not the G2 model. But that's doesn't matter because the major disappointment is in both models. It's a tarp I want to like, but I'm just disappointed with. I gave it four stars because for what it seems to be designed for, i.e. a diamond shelter, it's fantastic. But it has the potential to be more versatile with a simple modification. Snugpak for some reason has failed to place a loop at the center of each side. So if you plan to use this in a diamond configuration, it's fine. But if you want to utilize other setups in a secure manner, there are better alternatives out there. ... show more
