The brackets work well and it’s relatively easy to assemble with the included screws and a power drill (as long as you have 2’x4’s and a saw.) seems like it’s much sturdier than a lot of the metal racks you can buy online or at home depot. We have ours set up as a 4’x4’. One small issue which others have mentioned is that the footprint - Front to back - is a little narrow. I plan to attach a couple extra lengths of 2’x4’ to the outsides of base cross bars to add a little more ground contact and stability. ... show more

I have purchased 3 of these over the last 3 years. One is for dried split wood, one for wood that needs to dry (ash tree recently cut down), and one for smal starter wood. Love how you can make it whatever size you want by cutting the size of the 2x4's for the base and height how you want it . I did put old boards under the base just to help preserve the base 2x4's. All you need are the 2x4's--screws and end cross supports are provided. Highly recommend! ... show more

Like it. Organized my wood in no time. Added some cheap lengths of treated 2x4. Cut my wood down to 12". Placed the metal ends on some cheap floor pavers and Bob's your uncle, a fancy looking pile of wood.
