I needed a smaller mower for areas of my yard that I couldn't get to with my lawn tractor. Most of my tools have rechargeable batteries, so I tried this mower. It works great. The small size lets me get into all the places I couldn't before and is super lightweight. Easy to maneuver. The catcher bag works really well. As you can see from the picture, it fills the bag. If you don't need to bag your grass, it even comes with an insert to mulch it. I also like how it "senses" how much power it needs and will speed up in tall or thick grass and then slow back down on light grass. That helps the batteries last longer. This is a good, lightweight, small mower. I don't like the plastic wheels, but so far, there have been no issues. Easy to use ,quiet,cuts great with no missed blades like with my old gas mower,no pull-cord start and it runs smooth,reliably and does everything a gas mower can do! I was really happy to get this in the hopes that we would no longer have to pay someone to do our lawn anymore... We got this delivered & assembly was pretty easy & quick. Then it was time to let the batteries charge before using, they tell you when they are done charging, so you know when your ready. I'll admit our lawn was not pretty, we weeds, more weed then grass probably & some of those weeds are thick. This couldn't cut hardly any of it. It was terrible! We tried going over it & it would semi cut, sometimes & others just turn off altogether. I will say that this is lightweight & small, which is nice. The noise is much less minimal compared to a regular mower. I'm guessing that if I had perfect grass maybe this would work but it did not on my yard. ... show more

What a surprise when I first unpacked this sturdy little mower. Although I had quickly reviewed the specs, I certainly was not expecting the neat, compact size of this machine. It is small in comparison to so many mowers, but is smartly designed and simple to use. To start, out of the box the mover unit is completely assembled except for the handle and grass catcher. 2 larger threaded knobs attach the upper handle (which includes the safety bar and start switch) to the separate lower handle pieces. Each lower handle has the threaded knobs already attached that will connect the handle assembly to the mower and allow for adjustment of the handle height for meet your needs. A single screw attaches a handle to the grass catcher, clip the bag to the catcher framework and you're done. The catcher fits securely and quickly to the mower with 2 hooks. A charger and 2, 20V batteries are included. Once charged, the batteries insert into a covered compartment on the top of the mower and you are ready to mow. On the plus side, these machine is lightweight and compact, only about 18 inches wide, 4 feet long, so it is easy to store, and easy and light enough to quickly pick up and transport (nice lifting handle on the mower body) if you are placing in a pickup or van to take to a remote job. Easy enough to collapse the handle if need be, although the integrated control cable keeps you from completely removing the upper handle from the mower itself. Deck height is adjusted with a single lever that gives you 5 choices for various mowed grass lenght. There is a removable baffle that allows you to choose to collect clippings in the grass catcher, or mulch the clippings. Cons are really just making sure you understand that this is not a machine to tackle an acre of grass. At just under 16 inches of cutting width, the mower is excellent for trimming that small apartment lawn, the hard to reach areas around your main gatden, or around the shrubs and tress it's too cumbersome to drive the big mower around. So I ordered this thinking that it would be a joke. Turns out though, the joke was on me. This thing is fantastic! My front yard is 122'x 148'; it's a good sized lot and I can knock the grass cutting out in about 25 minutes on no recharges and with plenty of battery life left. It's 40v. It comes with two 20v batteries and a dual charger so, everything you need for years of service is included. Assembly is easy with no tools required to put it together (takes roughly ten minutes to put together). Really, the best thing about this is there's no cranking and oil and gasoline and all that stuff to deal with. It's perfect for older people and anyone that doesn't want all the hassles of a gasoline powered lawn mower. Incredible piece of machinery! Highly recommend! ... show more

The mower arrived well-packaged and took about 20 minutes to assemble. The instructions were clear and straightforward. It's a good size for smaller yards - not too heavy to push around, but big enough to get the job done efficiently.It was definitely quieter than a gas mower. The biggest drawback for me was the runtime. While it was enough for my yard, it might not be ideal for much larger lawns. You might need to factor in extra battery charging time if you have a bigger space. Also, the grass collection bag isn't huge, so you might need to empty it frequently depending on how thick your grass is. The two batteries provided enough power to mow my small lawn (around a quarter-acre) on a single charge, as advertised. ... show more
