Been using faithfully since the last week In March with zero results. Had laser hair removal 15 years ago was hoping to just do some touch up spots and it didn't do a thing. Can't be returned after 30 days, save your money.

    • It's nice, but is it worth the price?
When it comes to IPL Hair Removal devices, most devices work very similarly to one another and feature few differences. If you've used one, you've essentially used them all. One thing to be aware of is this unit does not feature the same degree of energy-level control as other units. To me, this is an important feature to have because it is possible to create a burning sensation if the energy level is too high (for beginners, I recommend starting at a lower energy level). This unit does the energy adjustments automatically, and while so far I haven't had a problem with this, I would feel more confident having total control of the energy output. While the product photos show a woman, men like me can also benefit from this product. Since I have hair on my back that creeps up, I've been using this unit to remove hair off the back of my neck. Because it requires several treatments over the course of a few weeks, I'm still in the process of reviewing this product on a longer-term basis. I'll update this review once I have more information to share regarding the effectiveness. Overall, while this unit is quite nice, for the price so far I haven't found any justifiable reason to spend this amount of money compared to more affordable units. Time will tell... ... show more

This Laser hair remover is High Quality and Easy to Use. The package is lovely and includes a velvet bag for storage which is a big plus to an item like this. It is certainly small enough to pack when traveling if needed. When activated , pulses are emitted and your entire body treatment is completed in about 10 minutes. The light pulses are warm to the skin but I’ve experienced no pain or any unpleasant sensations. I like the fact it only activates when it measures and detects your skin tone so there is no need for eye protection; the light is in direct contact with your skin. The instruction book is easy to read and understand. I have always wanted laser hair removal but I could not afford salon treatments. Finally I have exactly what I was searching for! I would like to give it 5 stars but it takes up to 12 weeks to see final results and I’ve only used it for a few treatments. I’m confident after 12 weeks I will need to increase stars! Overall I’d recommend this to others as well as I think it’s fairly priced for what you receive. I hope this review helps! ... show more

Ok, I added a lot of photos because there’s a lot going on in this package. First of all it’s packaged beautifully and very giftable if you’re buying it for someone else. The instructions are extensive which is good but also it’s a lot to read to use it because obviously you don’t want to use it incorrectly. It does have to be plugged in to use which is fine but but should be noted in case you want something more portable. It does have a nice velvet bag that everything fits inside. I also love that it has a protective cover for when you store it. Can’t comment on the effectiveness yet but I will update if it blows me away or disappoints me. ... show more

Finally a professional style hair removal device for men and women designed for use in the privacy of the home and eliminating the need to go for treatments in an expensive spa setting. How does it function? It uses intense pulsed light (IPL) to remove unwanted body hair, basically anywhere on the human body. IPL treatments have also been used by dermatologists to remove age spots, sun damage, freckles, birthmarks, varicose veins, wrinkles, and rosacea. This device, however, is specifically engineered for permanent hair removal. As I understand the process, the flashgun of the unit which I pass across my skin delivers a spectrum of light which targets the melanin. The light travels through the skin until it strikes the har root/bulb. This is where the highest concentration of melanin is located. As the light is absorbed the bulb and the hair is heated destroying the papilla which is what produces the hair. The machine is actually made in the United Kingdom, a country which has always been among the leaders in the development of IPL technology. Clinical trials have demonstrated that I should see visible results in as little as four weeks and perhaps up to 97% of hair removed in about twelve weeks. The device appears to be faster than competing devices, as it delivers a power output of 3-4J/cm2 and 100 flashes per minute. The company states that with its unique patented sensors the machine automatically measures my skin tone and only activates when safe, thus eliminating the need for protective glasses. UV filters are intended to protect my skin from harmful rays. The device is cleared by the FDA in the U.S. and in addition meets international medical, ethical, and safety standards of performance. It features 2 comfort settings, 3 intensity levels, and up to 115 flashes per minute. Included in the package is a patented precision head adaptor for targeting smaller areas of hair growth. It is lightweight and easy to hold in my hand. While not absolutely necessary, I recommend wearing sunglasses while using the device, especially when using it near the eyes. I will check back here and possibly amend or edit my review after the suggested 12 weeks of treatment for the most complete hair removal.
