I bought this for my son when he was a baby, and bought another for my baby niece a year later. It was the first thing we thought to get her -- my kid loved it so much. It has a nice texture (baby liked holding it), the glove design stays on so the baby doesn't get frustrated, and it must have a great mouthfeel because they both really went to town. Later, as he developed he really liked tracing the face of the penguin. It's silicone, so you do have to make sure it's clean (it can pick up stray hairs), but that's true of any teething toy made out of the same material. It's really easy to clean and sanitize though. This is definitely good for teething if the teeth are coming in the front but it doesn’t quite reach the back. That being said, my breastfed baby couldn’t get past the fact that it was shaped like a nipple. Baby would suck and suck and then get so mad because no milk was coming out 😅 It was easy to hold onto for sure. It is soft enough and flexible enough to help with the teething. It is easy to clean but does collect lint very easily. All in all I’d say give it a try and see if it works! ... show more

My great-grandaughter loves it and can hold and guide it easily. She is teething now so it is a great soother. Will hold up very well I'm sure. Color is pretty but I don't think that's important when your gums hurt. Very pleased with purchase.
