    • Produces Ice Fast
I have to admit I was geeked out when my ice maker arrived. I spent several hours making ice for no reason and watching as the ice dropped and the mechanical scooper lifted the ice into the basket. I was impressed...from when you plugged the machine in and turned it on it only took 7-8 minutes to make a batch of ice. Although I was impressed I waited to review this until after I had a gathering to see how well it kept up with my guest's consumption. I turned the machine on about 3hrs before I had guests and the basket was full and the machine sat idle for a bit until the ice was starting to get consumed. I have to say the machine kept up very well...we never ran out of ice. The machine isn't silent but it isn't loud either. If you have people talking in the room you barely notice it running in the background. You will see reviews with folks whining that the ice melts while in the holding basket. The whiners aren't wrong but it doesn't matter because the machine will take the ice corpses and make more ice. Not only that the water in the reservoir will get colder and colder which will increasingly make the ice last longer. Bottom line...for the price, ease of operation and ease of cleaning this little gem is worth the money. Cheers! ... show more

Wish the ice was a little smaller, but that’s just preference. Really quiet, and produces more then enough ice for us and we go through a lot of ice, because I like to eat it.

    • Not “chewable” ice
The machine is nice, it is easy to set up and starts making ice quick. It is not noisy, and you can hear the ice drop into the basket only if you are the same room as the machine. The instructions are easy to read and make set up very simple. However, this is not “ chewable “ ice as described and that is what I needed/wanted. Even on the small setting the cubes are rather big, bullet size. They come out a bit wet and easily stick together. The plastic scooper will easily break if you are trying to break up the clumps of ice. I would suggest a metal scooper to do this with. I am returning this though, as I needed a more if chewable ice … smaller ice. This did not fit my needs. ... show more

This is a bad ice maker. The listing said it makes 26 pounds of ice in a day. It does not. the ice cubes are so tiny that they melt almost immediately when cold water is poured over them. It runs for 3 to 4 hours & only produces about 4-5 cups of ice. It would not produce 26 pounds in 24 hours. 12 pounds in 24 hours would be a stretch! I am going to return it. ... show more

We are a family of five and always need extra ice! This ice maker gives us that. It fits perfectly in any space on the kitchen counter and it’s not too big that it overcrowds a space. It is quiet and it makes lots of ice in just one evening. Highly Recommended.

    • Great Compact Ice Maker
It’s practical, works well and doesn’t take up much room. Both small and large ice cubes are good, but the large ones have more substance to them, so that’s the setting we usually use. We’ve only had it for a short while. I’ll provide further info as available.

    • 7 months & dead! Warranty?
Loved it while it worked-about 7 months. Bought it for traveling with our camper (used 2 trips)...also as a back-up to our refrigerator. One day-it kept running, but no ice. I will like it better if the company stands behind their product! Wish me luck! Starting-“now”! *update: I see they no longer offer the one year manufacturer’s warranty! Hmmmm🤔! Says a lot right there! UPDATE: I must say, the company saw my review and contacted me. Made it right by replacing it! All I had to do was return the old one and they sent me a new one in a very timely way. Thank you SMETA! ... show more
