  • Apple HomeKit Plus
Works great with my Apple HomeKit Apple and Google Home, I don’t have Alexa so I can not comment on their apps capabilities but I’m sure it’s works just as well.

  • Works with Android phone and Alexa... but a little tricky to set up
These smart plugs worked without a problem when I controlled them from my ehomelife phone app. The main reason I bought these plugs was because according to the description I would be able to control them using Alexa. It was somewhat challenging to get Alexa to recognize the devices at first (I experienced several trial-and-error attempts); First I had to install the eHomeLife app on my phone and set up my eHomeLife account. Then I had to enable the eHomeLife skill in Alexa (make sure you remember your eHomeLife log-in information when you set up your eHomeLife account because you will need this info to enable the eHomeLife Alexa skill). Then after setting up each device in the eHomeLife mobile app I had to go into the Alexa app and add each device in Alexa. Although setting up these devices to work with Alexa was not the most seamless, user-friendly process, I suppose it was somewhat worth it, since the price of these plugs was decent. I would only get these if you have some tech "know how" and enough patience to take the time to set them up. If I knew then what I know now about how tricky these would be to set up, I probably would have bought a different brand with better user ratings - even if it meant spending a little more. ... show more

  • Works well with my apple homekit mini, but setup can be finicky
Setup of these smart plugs took a few attempts, and I had a pretty frustrating time trying to reset them to their factory settings. But after a slightly frustrating (but not impossible) setup process; all these plugs have been functioning as expected, and I have had few connection issues. Overall for the price these are a great value if you feel confident and patient enough to get them setup properly. ... show more

  • Another cheap product from you know where.
Refoss comes from the same far east manufacture as Meross, but cheaper. I don’t know how well Meross works yet, but at this time, Refoss doesn’t work very well. At first, the setup was easy and quick, going through the Apple HomeKit app. But after a few days everything fell apart. I could not reconnect any of my Refoss devices to Apple HomeKit. Refoss/Meross’s own app worked fine during this time, and I could continue to use the devices through their app…but I don’t want to do that, I have enough home automation apps already and just tired of it all. If it doesn’t work well going through HomeKit, Alexa, and/or Google…then it goes right into the garbage, it’s just that easy for me right now. I’ve been in the automation business for a long time and you still get what you pay for. So you go cheap with Refoss, you get cheap service. After a few hours, all my Refoss items finally reconnected back to HomeKit and all was good….but just for a few more days. I also noticed a lot of bot reviews here, so I can’t trust much of them, I would keep that in mind. I hope this review helps somebody. At this time, I cannot recommend this brand to my family, friends, and all who read this review. Happy shopping!! ... show more

  • Great to make a few non-smart devices into smart ones
These plus really are neat, they allow you to turn a few non-smart devices into smart devices! Lamps, Fans and other items that turn off with a switch work very well with these. I have to admit, I use mine with HomeKit as I'm using Apple devices, but they work flawlessly. I have a couple fans and lamps plugged into these. save some money on smart bulbs when dealing with lamps. just get these plugs, it also allows for manual control with the button on the side of the plugin itself so that's an added benefit. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Works great with my HomePod.
Loved this product wanted something that I could connect my Christmas lights too for my Apple HomePod. And this does just that. Exactly what I was looking for.

  • Never worked well but don't work with HomeKit after iOS 16 update
I've had these for about a year now and used them with Apple Homekit. (I do not want to create an account with meross so I add and control all smart devices using only Homekit.) They have been a big pain in my bum for the entire time I've owned them - every month or so Homekit showed "no response" for the outlet so I would have to remove it and then re-add it, which was super annoying. But at least they worked. Starting after the iOS 16 update, they stopped working at all. I can add them to Homekit and it says "added successfully", but then within 15-60 seconds it changes back to "no response". I have removed the outlets from the Home app and reset all of the outlets several times, but the same thing keeps happening. It says it adds the device, I can see it in Apple Home, and then within a minute it shows "no response" and absolutely will not work. I have 6 of these things and they are all just absolutely useless wastes of money now. I'm really hoping that once the Matter smart devices get released I will have more luck using smart devices in Homekit. But these are unfortunately going in the trash. :-( ... show more
