Note: I haven’t been able to get lamps with in-line cord switches to work with these plugs, so if that’s what you’re using, keep that in mind before purchasing. Last year, a friend gave me three of these smart plugs, and I thought they were great. At night, when no one is home, I can remotely turn on the plugs, which turns on the lights connected to them – this is for safety. Now, I also need one of these plugs for my electric blanket, so I don't have to bend down every morning to unplug it from the wall socket. I want to completely disconnect the power when the blanket isn't in use. So, I bought this plug, which can also be controlled using the "Smart Life" app. It's very convenient and great. However, there is a slight noise each time it is turned on or off, but it does not affect its use.

They work great with both Google Home and Alexa! Very easy to set up. I did have an issue with the 2nd set of 4 I bought (now have 12 working). This set connected to Alexa, but not to Google and wrote the company and received a nice email that they had had an issue and fixed. And then those 4 appeared in Google Home. Thanks for the support!!

- I bought these plugs before black Friday at $20.98. Now they are on sale for the exact same price for black Friday. Don't fall for the discount scam. They are not discounted. I do like the plugs though, and they are definitely worth 20 dollars. Below is my original review. This is my first time having smart plugs and these were easy to set up and link to my alexa. I my whole room and office set up to be operated by voice. Turn my lights on when I wake up or turn my fan on if I get too hot at night. I have no idea how long they last but they seem pretty durable. I'm happy with the purchase.

It uses the smartlife app which you can download, and it works well anywhere you don't have to be within bluetooth range to reset the plugs, it basically lets you alternate your wifi when one is overheating or overused. and alternate, so you setup a scene on smartlife app where you turn all smart plugs off with all wifi devices. then the alternating one that hasn't been used for like 4 hours can turn on, after 35 seconds you can turn on another smart plug powering the next daisy chained wifi device. i like it. it saves a lot of running back and forth every 4-5 hours when one wifi got overused. and you have to manually alternate by unplugging it from the wall and plugging in another one that isn't hot.
