The TTLocck Smart Deadbolt is installed, looks and works great, and gets 5 stars for performance. But there are some issues: 1 - Instructions are neither clear nor complete, obviously written by someone for whom English is not their primary language. 2 - Alexa-type control is not built into this lock and requires the purchase and installation of a separate hub. The hub also works great but there are similar issues with unclear and incomplete instructions. 3 - I got through it due to a combination of experience, trial and error, and patience. This was a replacement for a Schlage in gold color. This handle was definitely an upgrade. It is most of all very heavy and sturdy! The installation was very easy and did require the Wi-Fi bridge for the Smart door lock.. The Wi-Fi bridge needs to be 3-6 feet from the door. The installation was very easy although the “instructions” appeared to be a Google translation from another language. The weather seal gasket around the dead bolt was a little tricky. This is a beautiful and sturdy handset. Unfortunately, it does not fit my door. My door is about a quarter inch too thick. The front and back do not connect at all. No fault of Smonet, it would have been perfect match with my Smonet smart lock.
