The media could not be loaded. We bought this box back in December to setup in our new house once we moved in.. we moved in end of January and set it up. It worked good for the 1st few months. Scooped 20 min after the cat came out of the box. The bags were awesome. Cleaned it every week how the isntrucation manual said to. Did everything the right way. According to the manufacturer. A few weeks ago it stopped automatically raking after the cat went potty. I went through all of the trouble shooting steps, even dusting off the sensors.. still couldn't get it to come on. For the last few weeks I've resorted to just manually turning it on and off so it would scoop the waste. A few days ago it randomly just stopped working at all. Can't even get it to come back on. I have tried everything the troubleshooting steps have recommended. To no avail. For spending almost $300 on this setup, I'm beyond aggravated. I'm not sure what went wrong, but this product is not it. There's no way to reach out to the seller/manufacturer to get any information whatsoever. All around a bad experience and I've just got to eat the $300 we spent on a non working automatic litter box. What really stinks is I did the research. For weeks on end I researched all different kinds of automatic litter boxes. This seemed like the middle ground(not having to fork out $600+) even the reviews at the time were really good on this machine. If I had to let anyone know, I would recommend you look the other way and not buy this machine. After re looking at the reviews, it looks like it works for a few months fine for most, then randomly quits. And Noone can get ahold of the manufacturer to get guidance. Really frustrated and bummed we spentso much $ just to have to scoop everything out manually. It's just a huge eyesore now, and absolutely useless. Buyer beware. I’ve been using this litter box for over a year, and while it has its strengths, I’m not entirely satisfied. The rake mechanism can be tricky to clean, and the effectiveness at controlling odor depends heavily on the type of litter used. It’s quiet, has excellent sensors to avoid cleaning when the cat is nearby, and the cover helps minimize litter mess outside the box. However, the port at the back stopped working after about five months, though the top port still functions. It’s bulky but easy to take apart for cleaning. Overall, it’s a decent entry-level option, but I probably wouldn’t purchase it again and will use it until it breaks. ... show more

Never written an Amazon review before. Guess I've been fortunate enough to never have to write one. But after my experience with this product, I feel compelled to warn folks to not be suckered into buying this automatic litter box. Automatic litter boxes are expensive. And there seems to be a dime a dozen out there. I thought I did my research. This one had plentiful of favorable scores. Even positive reviews. And it was middle of the road price wise. I thought I was getting one that would last a good while; however, I have had mine for about four months, and I want to move on to something else. My product is faulty and defective. No amount of cleaning and troubleshooting seems to fix it. The main problem is the motion sensor that detects the cat stays on perpetually meaning it never 'kicks' on to rack out the poop. After consulting the 'troubleshooting' section of the manual and lightly dusting the sensor as instructed, it still does not operate, forcing me to manually restart the product to get it to rack. Lesson: Go for a weight sensor for your automatic litter box as opposed to a motion sensor. I should have known this product was going to be faulty. Plenty of red flags that I now know in retrospect. Namely the lack of internet presence for the manufacturer (i.e. no demo videos, no installation videos etc. like other automatic litter boxes have) and the instruction manual is basic and minimalist. I have no faith in this manufacturer. Thankfully Amazon is refunding me, and I can move on to a different, better product. I'm 'biting the bullet' this time and spending money on a 'top of the line' product. I'd advise you do the same. Don't be fooled like I was. Steer clear of this product. There are better options out there. Do better research than I did my first time. Hopefully this review helps someone. ... show more

    • Stopped working after 6 months
Initially worked like a charm. Loved it until it stopped working. The sensor indicating a cat is in it stays on now and so it will no longer cleans the box. I have thoroughly cleaned entire device and still it stays on. I’ve contacted the seller several times because it supposedly has a 1 year warranty and they have NOT RESPONDED! So hopefully they will or I have an extremely expensive NOT SELF CLEANING litter box again. Good luck ... show more
