Introducing a Small Outdoor Fire Pit to our garden was an idea sparked by the desire for a cozy spot during the cooler evenings on the farm. The compact size and square design seemed perfect for our space, promising a blend of warmth and style without overwhelming the area. The reality, however, was a mix of anticipation and slight letdown. Assembly was the first hurdle; not all holes aligned perfectly, turning what should have been a simple setup into a bit of a puzzle. Once constructed, its size became more apparent – it was indeed very small, offering limited room for the kind of gatherings we had envisioned. Its lightweight nature, while making it easy to move, also raised concerns about how it would fare after a few uses and exposure to the elements. Though it adds a decorative touch to our garden and has been a novel feature, its practicality for actual gatherings around a warm fire is limited. The small size doesn't quite allow for the communal ambiance we hoped to create, serving more as a visual accent than a functional centerpiece for outdoor warmth and bonding.     • Very nice for smaller spaces
This fire pit is nice and sturdy. Assembly was easy and fairly quick. It is a perfect firepit for smaller spaces or if you just don't want something large. It has been holding up well to being outdoors. We have enjoyed it and look forward to many more uses!

    • Nice idea, bad implementation
I had high hopes for this, especially with the price. However, it just won't hold up as a fire pit. I love fire pits and have used them all my life. As a retired park ranger we had to install and maintain countless fire pits through out my career. This one looks good, but is made from very lightweight 21 gauge steel. That is super thin. As a comparison, my gas grill is made from heavier 18 gauge steel. It did go together fairly easy, but I don’t understand the purpose of the lower tray. It’s not there to catch the ashes and it doesn’t provide support. If fact, because it is flat it makes it wobble on uneven ground. The middle tray would be better if it had slots in it to provide better airflow and allow ashes to fall to the bottom. Overall, I would say it is a decent idea, but they just came up short on how they did it. I put it together, I tried it, I have used it for a while, I am going to repurposed it because it just isn’t a good idea. ... show more

This thing is small but mighty. It's solid construction should last for quite awhile. It's a little tricky at times to put together but after that it's all good. It's made of iron so it's not light.     • Very dissapointing
The media could not be loaded. I guess my expectations of a fire pit are much different than this manufacturer’s. This thing is way too flimsy to withstand any kind of heat. Take a look at my video and judge it for yourself. Besides being very cheaply made, I am having trouble deciding exactly how it should be used. The tray seems to fit under the unit, but will not help contain the ashes since this thing has a solid bottom. It would work as a cover, but won’t fit over the grill - I guess you store that somewhere else. Speaking of the grill, it doesn’t fit properly, and is already falling apart. This firepit was very easy to put together. It's not as heavy as I thought it might be, but still very sturdy. Being lighter makes it easy to move around, so that you don't have to keep it in the same spot. Very handy to have for cooler nights when you want to be outside.
