Worst purchase I’ve made in a long time. Did you think it was possible for some thing to go from art block a base to water without becoming slushy first? I didn’t. I never knew the laws of physics would allow that to happen. However, it seems that this cup is the ONLY vessel on the planet to make a frozen drink go from hard block of ice straight to water. Ice was so hard that not even my body builder friend could squeeze it to make a slushy. I left it out for 3 hours while watching TV and I watched it the whole time, trying to squeeze the outside and make it a slushy. Never happened. The ice was never soft enough to squeeze. After 4 hrs, I have solid cylinder of ice that will NOT break up, and a pool of water surrounding it. It went from hard block of ice to water. Never became soft ice to make slushy. ... show more

This cup works to make slushies. Unfortunately after about 4 uses the ring that holds the insulated part and the outer cover came apart and there's no way to put it back together. We're still trying to use it but water does get in between the two parts.

I use it every night after my walk. Great treat to cool down to. Easy to use, put any drink in and smush it and done in minutes. Easy to clean and put back in freezer for the next day! I miss my 7-11 slurped and this is great at home version.
