We just started playing pickle ball and learned on heavy old paddles which make these seem like pro quality. LOL. These are not the ones that our instructor recommended, but they are comparable in quality but slightly cheaper. We love that they are light weight, the handle grips are comfortable and they brightly colored. So far we are delighted. They seem well made and loved that the bag and balls were included as a set. It’s awesome for beginners with great grip and affordability! I started playing pickleball this summer and bought this set and am quite satisfied with its quality and durability. The handles have great grip when your hands get sweaty and the surface area gives you good range to hit the balls. Love these. Got one for my partner and one for me. Handle grip Feels nice on his large hands and is comfortable for my smaller hand. This was my first purchase. It started me on my Selkirk journey. I know own 3 Selkirk paddles ( 2 Invicta and 1 Vanguard), but I could easily go back to an SLK paddle. In case there are some that dont know: SLK is made by Selkirk. I am a former tennis player and coach, so I picked up the game quick. They have great pop; I can stay back and drive with power. But, I also have enough control to help with placement and kitchen play. I do tend to use topspin and slice; they are grippy enough for this. The set lets you play on arrival with the included paddles, balls, and bag. The bag has a single compartment with a mesh front area that I haven't figured out what to use for. No drink holder if this is important to you. It is also unpadded, but for a free bag, it gives you something to carry your paddles to the court in. I take them with me in case others need to borrow a paddle and to give lessons, and people offer to buy then from me after using them. Even though I have several Invictas, I have not wanted to part with them. ... show more

This is a great kit for beginners to high skill level, Lightweight and have a nice grip. The balls are good but the bag is pretty cheap feeling. The paddles themselves don’t feel cheep like the ones at your local super store. I would definitely recommend these to anyone at a local level of competition. ... show more
