I started playing Pickleball just 4 months ago. Brought this paddle about 2 months ago and didn’t know how good it is until I started to look into upgrading my paddle. I played with other people more expensive paddles but still like this one the best. It has better power and control(I can drop the ball at the net or in the kitchen with ease). Since I am still not good putting spins on the balls, I can’t say much about that. However, I could say that it is the paddle for me to learn it. This was a great paddle, the textured carbon surface gave me great spin and control. The power was adequate , I can generate my own power so it was not an issue. I only played with it a couple of times and exchange it for the T700 as I think that one will be more durable as I put heavy top spin and swing hard (playing like tennis), otherwise, I would have kept it. If you want till it goes on sale, pick this up as a spare or your main paddle...it won't disappoint. I can't see myself spending 150 - 200 for a paddle when they all eventually get dings and scratches and will need to be replaced. I received the replacement paddle. It was new and the outer box was not frayed or damaged. The weight is 8.2 ounces which is perfect for me. It hits just as good as the Insum TRY paddle, which I absolutely love. Both T700 paddles that were sent to me were not in spec, 7.2 ounces, rather than 7.87. When I reported the lesser weight of both, Insum basically told me I WAS WRONG. Make sure you really like any paddle you purchase from Insum because their customer service sucks. I did not deduct any stars because I am enjoying the paddle. I have purchased two other paddles from Insum. I have no doubt that this paddle was a return from someone else. The outer box was opened, frayed and not wrapped in plastic like the other models. The paddle was not placed in a styrofoam padded holder, just thrown in the box and was allowed to jiggle around. Weight is in spec, but I think the handle is a bit thicker than 4.25. I will return this product for a new one. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. After developing sever tennis elbow over the last three months and my game play absolutely tanking, one of my friends insisted I had a broken paddle. I thought that was dramatic, and placed the blame on myself for playing too much, but sure enough, putting some slight pressure on the paddle face you can hear it is completely mushy. I feel ridiculous that I didn’t think to inspect it sooner. I went from winning tournaments at 3.5 level to barely being able to play casual open play at the 2 level and it has been demoralizing. Every shot on this paddle was dead, and it has been resonating into my arm causing debilitating pain. It has been a waste of money, and even worse physically damaging to my body ... show more

Bought on sale, was looking for a carbon paddle to backup my joola hyperion, the joola spin surface is starting to break down from constant play. Insum does a good job of matching the shape so break-in was easy.
