The pad is very comfortable, but no cooling noticed for us. It's on top of a 4" memory foam as well as our mattress. I have to buy King Cal sheets and comforter set for a better fit on my king bed. Only had it a week, the quality appears fine so far. I washed and dried it without a problem.

The pictures make it look like you’re getting like an egg crate type mattress topper. This is just a mattress cover with seams sewn on to make it look like it has these peaks and valleys like there is this 3D like feel to it. It’s just flat with no cushioning or anything. I got this for my spare room because guests complain about how firm the mattress is. Figured this was a solution to that issue. I ended up using it over another mattress topper I bought as simply a mattress pad. Make sure you read 3” or 4” mattress topper when buying a mattress topper as to not confuse it for one of these.
