I loved these so well I bought them as a gift for a family member, too, who is bothered by lights at night. Since they are black silk, they are wonderfully soft and truly make sleeping better. They easily hand wash and dry quickly hanging on a towel in my bathroom. The quality is super and the band that secures the mask around your head is sturdy enough to retain its stretch and fit over a long period of time. The adjustment slide is super easy to use and infinitely adjustable. The price is great, making this sleeping mask a terrific value. The coverage is great, too, without putting undue pressure on your face when you've adjusted it to your face comfort. It can literally float over your face or be adjusted more snugly. The little silk fibers will start to tickle sometimes when they escape the stitching but it is simple to pull them off, leaving no damage to the mask. I've been using my set for about a year now and haven't opened all the masks yet. I rotate two of them between washing (by hand and with very gentle soap). These masks are very soft, comfortable, and heat-resistant. The adjustable strap is very nice too. I haven't had issues with the colors bleeding onto my pillowcase or anything. They definitely blackout everything when wearing them and help me sleep more soundly.

This mask is light weight, comfortably adjustable and so soft! I don't know how it will hold up in the wash but if it does, it is a terrific bargain. It does not press heavily on the eyes but still gets the job done. I would definitely buy this again.

I am a side sleeper so I can turn the mask around if I change from one side to another to avoid having the adjusting metal slide between my head and the pillow. I don't turn over during sleep so that is not a problem for me. These masks are soft and comfortable. I wish they were just a bit larger so as to cover the eyes better, but they do keep the light out when adjusted appropriately, so that is not a big problem.
