Update March 2024: I am really enjoying this PC and have had excellent support from Sky Tech Gaming when contacting them via email about minor questions such as upgrading it. One thing I would suggest is taking a look at their actual website. They just did a 2024 "refresh" of this PC the Shadow 4. It now has an i5 13400F, Nvidia 4070-Super, and 32GB RAM but with a same/similar price. I bought this PC in early June 2023. The date is important. I got it specifically and solely for running the flight simulator DCS World, which had specific requirements such as iCore 5, 3+ GHz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070. I'm a Mac person at home, and at work my IT department hands everything about my desktop, so I know little about Intel PCs and Windows. So searching on Amazon bought up lots of PCs with specs that made little sense to me, but I did notice that most were less than 3 GHz and had GTX 1060 or lower numbered GeForce video cards. Then this one popped up with its RTX 4070 card. This system also ran a 3.7 GHz, so it was looking real good as my choice. It was vague on some things like number of USB ports - I needed four and the description specs listed two different types with one each, which seemed strange. So I then went to the Sketech website to see if I could get more on the specs... and there was nothing about this PC, just their Shadow 3 PC. This gave me some pause, was this some old PC that had been gathering dust in their warehouse and selling it here a way to get rid of unsold inventory. However reading online about NIVDIA it turns out the RTX 4070 was one of their newest high tier video cards having just been released in April 2023. Clearly this was a new PC too. So I went ahead and ordered. It arrived - the box containing the unit was a bit beat up but it was well packed in an Amazon box, so that damage must have happened in the shipping from Skytech to Amazon. One of the base feet was broken off, but nothing worth returning it as once in place on the floor it sits fine. Looking at the box it said "Shadow IV" and the paperwork indicated a May 2023 assembly, so new it was not yet on their website. It also had four USB ports; two on top and two in the rear. Be sure to read all the instructions before hooking it up - some of the ports in the rear deck are not active and it has a lot of internal cabinet form stuffing to protect components while being shipped that have to be removed. So i wanted to test this pc before i droped a review so i was using it for the last few months and i have to say its worth ever penny the gpu pairs well with the cpu games loud fast as long as you m.2 isnt full and will turn on quick once again if you storage isnt full. If i had to say somthing about it i would say it could us a little more storage but over all great buy if u can get one! ... show more

The packaging is perfect, not a thing was broken or scratched. Booted it up, everything ran so quickly and very fresh 200fps in destiny 2. The only issue I have is that the audio cable isn’t insulated well, so you can hear the graphic card in your headphones, and so can everyone else in your discord voicechat. After separating the cable from all the others and running it a different way to the motherboard, everything was perfect. Plus you can barely hear the fans. ... show more

Considering the GPU in this computer sells right now for up to about 70% of this computer's total cost, I'd say right now this is a BARGAIN! Good overall performance & build quality. Two issues: the packaging (foam) that's in the case to prevent the GPU from moving around during transportation is WAYYYY too tight, and actually bent the GPU!! Still works fine, but it's certainly not a very well thought out method of securing the innards. The USB ports (non 3) seem a bit wonky, and have some connection issues. The USB 3 posts work fine. Keyboard: I was fully expecting the included keyboard to be something I'd throw away as soon as I opened the package, as I was presuming it to be the cheapest keyboard possible, but much to my positive surprise, it's actually a pretty decent keyboard, and I'll keep it for sure. I will start off by saying that the tech support from Skytech is phenomenal. They were very fast to reply and help me troubleshoot my issue. Unfortunately, it was an issue beyond what they could help me with over emails. The issue was that with certain games such as 7 Days to Die and the Hunter Call of the Wild, the screen would lose connection, anything plugged into the gpu would lose power for a few seconds, and occasionally the fans would spin up to 100% speed. They had me try a few troubleshooting techniques. When that didnt work, they tried to help me narrow down the issue. They thought it may be the gpu, so I sent mine in and the sent me a new one, and they paid for the shipping of both. Unfortunately the new gpu didnt fix anything so I am returning it, but for the other games I played such as CSGO and Siege and Arma 3, the computer ran great. I was averaging 336.2 fps in CSGO. The fans are very queit and never needed to spin fast 25% to keep everything cool. The rgb on this case is fantastic. All case fans are synchronized and have the rgb spinning around the edge. The case has two strips of waterfalling rgb, one on each side near the front. The gpu is rgb in the front and middle fan. The case is highly breathable, everything stays cool. I ran it through an hour long furmark test and peaked at 70°C which I believe is really good considering the how demanding that test is. Overall, would definitely recommend this brand. I just happened to jut that one in a million bad one. It happens. But definitely love the computer, and the tech support is superb. ... show more

I Love it so far. I am able to play all my game on ultra settings. It runs quiet and looks very cool with the LEDs. I have built all of my gamming rigs in the past however with today's prices this rig is comparable to a self-build without the headache.
