Great little piece of plastic to place under the ladder but it doesn't suction or stay put. Each time the ladder moves, it scurries out from under the ladder legs. So far it has not flaked or chipped which I was anticipating. It's a very think little matt that comes rolled in a tube. You unroll it and slide it under your ladder. Would have been nice if it had of had suction cups like bathtub matts do. It's a really pretty color blue. I'd say there are about two inches of overhang on each side of the ladder, it's plenty wide enough. ... show more

My previous ladder pad was thicker and way easier to manipulate while underwater. This one is flimsy and will fold up on you while trying to get it to the bottom and maneuver the ladder over top. Just the flow of the pool has part of it permanently folded up. Spend a little more for something more sturdy and your pool life will be easier. ... show more

I bought this with high hopes it would go under my pool ladder and cut down on any kind of friction. Unfortunately it's just simply what you see a flimsy piece of rubber... The design is simply poorly made. If there would have had suction cups of some sort to adhere it to the bottom of the pool floor, it would have made more sense and had more of a high success rate. I tried for 2 days in a row to get this piece of rubber to stay under my pool ladder. every time the pool ladder shifted slightly the rubber piece would float upwards. I had to return.. ... show more
