Great value and solid performance! I have a 5 gallon tank that I maintain on a regular basis. People can't believe how clear the water is in my tank. I use this test kit weekly, and sometimes biweekly, as I change 30% of my tank water consistently. As result, I need to make sure the quality and statistics of the water are safe for the fish. This test kit makes it simple. The color match indicators on the side of package make comparing the test strip results very easy. The litmus strips are quality material and don't fall apart like other brands. I mainly use Bowl Buddies Tablets to regulate the PH and other variables. These test strips seem to be quite accurate each time I change the water, adjust PH levels and and test again! This kit has lasted me a year and so I'll be ordering another soon. Everyone talks about how inaccurate these strips are. But my fish are still alive months later and I owe it to these strips. All you have to do is this. If any of these readings begin to read high, change the water...Couldn't be easier. I have a 20 gallon tank and change 7 gallons at a time and that drops the levels back down to normal. ... show more

The test kit is inexpensive and easy to read. The hard part is maintaining the water for the fish. So far the strip has given me a good indicator on what I need to decrease/increase. Another way to tell if the water condition is not good is if you have a Betta and their tail starts to flake, however that's not the best option. ... show more

Easy usage, easy to read off the label. Suitable for beginners who have hardy fish in the tank. I would definitely upgrade if I was beyond beginner tank, as I feel for some more picky fish there will be a need for higher accuracy. Product lasts quite a while once you have an established tank
