Bought these for a new puppy, they are perfect. They are soft with a great waterproof backing. The prints and colors are cute and fun and are still just as great after several washings. I bought several sets so I always have backups when others are being washed.

I love these! I bought eight total (2 of the larger area rug size and 6 or the small area rug size)! I cycle them out for my four dogs (3 boy basset hounds and 1 girl Yorkie). I love using these instead of disposable potty pads. The bottoms of the pads are textured so they don't slip. My dogs LOVE to jump on/off furniture and I have vinyl flooring. This ensures that my dogs and the pad don't slip and it doubles as a rug! Easy to wash and dry in washer and dryer and durability is great! I just swap them out as they make messes on them! I really love these for my litters! I use them both under their rest area on carpet and also under their play area on hardwood. There is never a drop of leakage and that includes a litter of 13 going on it throughout the day. Easy to wash I use tide and Clorox sanitizer on it and they smell and look like new. These are very large and exactly what I needed! I am actually going to buy another set to have has backups. The only con....once your furbaby pees on it, you will want to wash it pretty soon. You can start to smell that urine smell pretty strong once they use it. But they wash well and smell just fine after washing. So that's why I'm getting another set for backup. Lol ... show more

Sure they would work good for potty pads. BUT I DO NOT use they for that. They are they BEST for anyone who has a baby around the house. Great for putting under highchair to catch the mess. Make great floor play mats for you little ones, because they come and all sizes and designs. Even big enough to cover the floor in one of them large folding plastic gated play pens. And the best thing of all just pick them up and throw in washer as needed, something you can not do with the foam playmats and these are a fraction of the cost. Just note that all pads are not created equal. I bought another brand (Qeils Reusable Puppy Pads, Washable Pee Pads For Dogs 2 pack) they were softer BUT soooo THIN unlike like these, which are much better for the floor. The small Qeils pads do work good to throw in diaper bag for a changing mat, lightweight and folds up small. ... show more
