This is a great unit to declutter your power tools and free up space on your workbench. Simple to put together. Be careful not to over-torque the included screws, you will strip out the pre drilled holes if you do. My only complaint is the predrilled holes for the wall mount screws are 15” on center… I fastened one side into my studs at 16” on center, used the drywall anchors for the other side in the predrilled holes, then put two more screws into the studs at 16” on center through new holes I made. She’s not going anywhere… Great piece for tool storage and makes finding tools a breeze. ... show more

I bought the smaller unit cause my office space that im using it in is small i was a little off put by the cheap hardware they chose to send with the unit for wall mounting since the unit itself was a bit heavy so i decide to add to what they sent i drilled an extra whole dead center at the top shelf and second shelf down and used the a 3 in screw so those where placed in a stud then used thier supplied hardware as well to add support for the unit worked out very well very solid mount ... show more

I would say this is of high quality but that is only partly true. It's made of solid wood, sanded smooth and clearcoated, which is the selling points that made me spend $75 for the same thing I could have purchased on Facebook Marketplace for $25 made from plywood. The problem is, the craftsmanship is subpar for a product in this price range. As you will see in the attached pics, the holes have been damaged (splintered) by dull countersink tools and the cord cutout at the top/left looks horrible, like they over cut and left a notch where their shouldn't be one and isn't square. Also, the predrilled holes in the shelves don't quite line up with their mating clearance, countersink holes on the end pieces, causing the screws to have to be screwed in at an angle to catch the shelf holes. So, now that it's all together, I'd still rather have this unit than the $25 plywood FB units but I believe I overpaid for this unit, seeing the poor craftsmanship. Only 3 of 5 stars from me. Update: I accidentally damaged the unit I reviewed above so I took a chance and ordered a second one. I just recieved it yesterday and am happy to find none of the poor craftsmanship I found on the first one. I added a pic to this review showing the much cleaner countersink holes and square notch. I added one more star, making this a 4-star review. If I had received this quality the first time, it would be 5. Update #2: Just upgraded all my power tools to Dewalt 20v and have found that not all the tools will fit properly upright, the 1/2" impact gun's forward/reverse button causes the gun to sit crooked. So I turned all the power tools upside-down and they fit perfectly (see added pic). Also, the left side hook-type holder works perfectly for my new Dewalt DCS355 oscillating multi-tool. This is very useful for storing my tools and overall, I'd recommend it with a couple of modifications mentioned near the end of this review. I docked two stars for the following reasons: The wood split in three places during (proper) installation. It doesn't feel particularly sturdy with screws alone, but I also wouldn't worry about it. I opted to scuff up the joints and glue and screw everything just to be safe. Another thing of note was the wall mounting holes aren't 16" on center which is odd. They are a little short (closer to 15 ish I believe). I re-drilled my own perfectly spaced mounting locations. With as much weight that's going on these, I'd be a little hesitant to use the included drywall anchors long term when you're constantly taking/placing tools on it. All in all, with those little modifications, this is a great and functional shelf. I just feel for the money it shouldn't have these short comings. ... show more

Sturdy enough for intended purpose. Instructions easy to follow and goes together quickly. Several predrilled holes to attach to wall but no two are 16 inches apart. The preferred wall attachment should be to drill into studs.
