I bought this product in March and within 6 months it has broken from the pinch roller. I’ve had no luck with customer service. It’s ridiculous. I now have a useless $450 machine and no one wants to help me. I do not recommend buying this product. The Silhouette company is a ridiculous company.

I am new to this but wanted to get a machine with good reviews and good quality. But If you don’t want to pay for the monthly subscription service you don’t get the set up instructions and manual. Don’t worry tho “the first month is free” it’s a good way to rope you into having to pay to have the for manual to the machine. It’s not intuitive to use so a person new to this needs the manual. Also I didn’t get the tool kit that was supposed to come with come with the kit I paid for so that’s another mark against this. ... show more

As a starter bundle, this is almost well done. After a few weeks of researching and ordering additional parts to maximize this purchase direct from Silhouette America, at the time of this writing (Jan 2024), there is no way to use the sketch pens that come with the cameo 5. As a result, if you are looking at using this device to have sketch pen abilities, know the following. (1) Amazon does not sell the proper pen holder for the cameo at this time. 5. I purchased the correct one directly from Silhouette America. (2) There is no pen adapter to use with the "bonus" pens that come with the bundle at this time. Unfortunately, attempting to seek out answers on Silhouette America's support area was a waste of time for most things for the Cameo 5. The product is too new, and no visible efforts have been seen to aid its Cameo 5 user base. Sadly, the worst part is that there is no simple way to locate technical support and reach out to them to request help. ... show more
