I've been looking for a while for a small bistro set and found this. It's got great, light colors and seats sit under table so it's perfect for a small area. No problem putting it together and it's pretty heavy duty. It's a great height for us because we're tall and the stools are comfortable. Once we got out the drill, assembly was a lot easier. It took about 90 mins to assemble (but that was with me and my 8 year old and then my 17 year old son stepped in!) super sturdy, functional and beautiful addition to our kitchen! I needed a desk that I could stand at and create in my craft space. I had about 3 ft to use. Fit perfect. It's nice looking. It upgraded my space since I'm using older furniture! The stools look great and are sturdy. Also the desk has three shelves on the side. If you are a crafter you know that any extra storage is a bonus. One drawback was putting it together. My husband did this kind of thing for a living and he found it difficut, but suceeded. I had to be patient becase it took a few hours to make. So be forewarned. Very sturdy. Easy to assemble and I’m a female. I did this by myself in about a hours time. The chairs are very stable and the fabric is strong. My cat decided to try and claw it and not one snag. So this is cat proof to a certain extent.

To start, it was well packed and no damage was seen while unpacking. The set is relatively easy to put together if you have ever put together this kind of furniture before. The instructions could have been a little clearer, but that is usually the case with this kind of stuff. Besides the shelves being a little cheap looking, the rest of the set is really high quality. The stools are heavily padded and comfortable to sit on for a few hours. My wife has been using it to study for CPA exams and does so for 6-8 hours on the weekends without complaint. The top of this thing is really nice and well made. While the shelves look a little cheap, putting candles, books, and any other decor hide the cheapness. Love the colors, matches our surroundings. We'll made, and good price. First seen at Ashley store, then found on Amazon. Same table and company, but cheaper and free delivery. Just buy it!!! Don’t let the negative reviews deter you. It came sooner than expected which was a nice surprise. The box was a little battered as expected but the extra careful packaging ensured no damage to the actual table or chairs. Unless you can push, pull, or carry 109lbs make sure you have someone to help you. The unboxing was harder than actually putting the table together. It took me about 3 hours by myself. It seemed overwhelming at first but once started it’s not too bad. The instructions could be better but I managed. It would have been helpful if the screws were labeled with letters like in the instruction booklet. You’ll have to match the picture and measurements which takes more time. The table fits perfectly in my tiny kitchen. The chairs are attractive and surprisingly sturdy. I’m petite while my husband is a big guy and the chairs are comfortable for the both of us. I love the addition of the shelf on the side that provides storage which you don’t get with most of the other sets. This is a very sturdy and extremely attractive set. It looks expensive for a fraction of the price. Overall it was completely worth it! Just buy it!!! ... show more
