    • Love this for putting horse panels on my trailer
While I know they were made for ladders, I saw them and immediately thought of using them for trailering horse panels on the outside of a horse trailer. They worked beautifully. After adding on some rubber strips for the panels to sit on, I can strap them tight and now take a sturdy coral with me when I trail ride with the horses. ... show more

Overall this thing is okay. Build quality not the greatest and the powder coating is already flaking after mild use but honestly wouldn't complain too much for the price. I would definitely buy a set for the house though. Trailer use it'll last maybe 2 seasons but with heavy use I'm hesitant.

The image on amazon doesn't match the directions on how the c channel should be mounted and more images should be in the directions. I followed the images on Amazon and it may be the sheet instructions. Unnecessary confusion

This JY Performance ladder rack set is a great example of a simple and well-thought-out product that assembles easily and offers a variety of different solutions for moving ladders and other long items around. The whole set is very complete, and includes everything you need to assemble the frames and hooks, as well as additional long hardware to reach all the way through your trailer walls. The steel construction is surprisingly thick and welded cleanly, and the powder coating is similarly thick and durable. All the holes line up as well, which is always a good thing! The hardware kit also includes large, powder coated pressure plates (~2 inch squares) to distribute the load on the inside of your trailer or van...this is a nice feature to include as well. The hooks can be placed in any one of five locations along the length of the main rails, and oriented upwards or downwards. In my application, they're oriented upwards for ladders, and fit my common aluminum extension ladders just right. The plastic caps will keep rain from drizzling down the tubes, and the included bungee cords also help set this kit apart. Altogether, this is a great kit that works perfectly, and - for the price - I'm not sure you can wrong! ... show more
