Thanks for the quick ship

  • Great game. Terrible pricing of DLC.
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Standard
Excellent console port of a fantastic game. I have had a few bugs/crashes on Series X, especially with both expansions running. However the console controls are very intuitive and it has been a great buy. Only con is the ridiculous DLC pricing. You can easily spend $150 for the base game, expansions, and new frontier pass. ... show more

  • You will Waste your Life
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Standard
I would highly suggest not buying this game unless you do not like to sleep. Imagine watching the sun rise through your windows as your still playing this game from the evening before.

  • Entertaining!
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Standard
I had not played on of these games since Civilization Revolution, this one definitely comes with more in game moves to make, at first I was a bit confused as to what some of the actions did but once I understood everything, it was the game I expected, got really into the game and couldn't put it down. ... show more

  • Harder to navigate. More like the computer version 🙁
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Standard
Product shipped fast and was in perfect condition. We are a family who all love Civ Rev and awaited this Xbox version of it for a long time. Overall not as user friendly as the older one and not as fun in our families humble opinion. Hard to adjust screen map. If you like the computer version of the game - you probably like this. ... show more

  • Comprehensive and Immersive
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Standard
This game is comprehensive and complete; however, games can take a very long time to finish. The mechanics are greatly satisfying, but the game (especially if one has no experience with Sid Meyer) can be daunting to learn. I haven’t tried deity, but I can imagine it could be extremely challenging to beat. ... show more

  • Not what it used to be
Platform: Xbox One Edition: Standard
I enjoyed Revolution back in the day. You could play it slow or fast and win even on the hardest setting. This is not Revolution. In fact this is all the bad stuff of Revolution mixed with more bad stuff. It takes an entire continent to raise a good city while the AI piles them next to each other, one on top of the other. War mechanics don't make sense and since you only have two cities waging war is hopeless. And what's with the barbarians. They can take on tanks when they are in the stone age? Come on. What a miserable experience, no economic victory anymore, but a religious victory? When has any religion been victorious on earth? There isn't enough time on the planet to make all your options work. Pigeon hole yourself on one thing or die. Too many options, too much fluff, no I don't need a million different styles of infantry, what a lot of clutter. I'm out. ... show more
