I bought one to test for church pastor use. This mic exceeded my expectations, in multiple churches with multiple pastors, male and female. I needed to get away from lapel type mics because of jewelry/necklace issues. The mic is durable, sounds great and is easy to use. Clips utterly usesless. Will not stay on wire. Clearly the aperture was engineered poorly..or mispackaged.. Cost..prohibitive to most purchasers. However, I think the quality "may" be in the sound. Yet to determine fully. Does seem more dynamic.

Not sure what's with the yellowy color that seems a tad off, but they work well. Better than the mics they replaced. I bought 2 and am using them on older SLX bodypacks. The mics come with a few good accessories all in a hard case. The main Con: They're pretty expensive.

We used it in our synagogue and it's a fairly large room and the quality of the mic I felt was very good. I realize a big part of it has to do with the sound system but sometimes depending on how mics and speakers are set up that you can get feedback coming back through speakers that might have too much volume and your microphone has too much gain ... show more

Bought this mic to replace the lapel mic that came with our shure wireless system. We are using this system in a church with multiple speakers and monitors. The building is also acoustically challenged. The sound quality is excellent. Comparible to our Shure SM58 mics. This mic is very sensitive and I was able to turn the mixer gain down to 14db and still had plenty of volume with little to no background noise and no feedback from the speakers or floor monitors.
