I was looking for a backpack to use as a personal bag for my flight to Japan and a bag to use while walking around. I went with this one for the TSA integrated lock on it, the USB charging port and its size. Very durable material and mildly waterproof. It did rain a bit while I was there and my umbrella didn’t caver most of the pack. The contents were mostly dry, aside from the close part to the zipper. Straps were comfortable for the most part. The only thing that would have made this better would have been a clip to connect the shoulder strap at the chest. Carrying it for several hour did cause some discomfort with the back and shoulders after a couple hours and a strap/clip at the chest would have made this 5 star product. After gentle use on a trip, the sewing is coming apart on the pocket and pencil holders. Haven’t even used the pencil/pen holder spots. The lining is coming off the pocket. This is my first time using this product, received it just over a week ago. Defective UPDATE- Asked for a refund/replacement- sent in the old backpack and got a new one.
