Much better than I expected. From the photos, I thought these were satin. They're more like the fabric you get at school for a choir dress, or maybe a bridesmaid dress. Hard to explain but definitely not Shiney satin like I expected, thank goodness. These were the best option for the color I was searching for and they're perfect. Not like a deep emerald green but like a forest green with a touch of moss. Warmer toned than emerald. Very pretty. I was kind of stressed about how poorly the reviews showed the color, thought for sure I could do it better but this color is difficult to photograph! I don't know why it's showing so dark. Took a pic with daylight shining through and one with the overhead light on. I'll retry in the morning when the sun is on the other side (: It's lovely and I'm very happy with it. Excited to finish the window treatments with some longer shears and a second rod (: definitely blackout. Love that it's the same on both sides so I can tie them back or together or whatever I feel like doing and won't have to deal with hiding the ugly side. One thing I don't love is that the edges don't have an end tab. Idk if that's how all curtains just are, but it makes the ends flare out and the white strip up top is visible. I figured out how to tuck them into the bracket a bit to keep them down but I wish there was another loop to keep them that way. ... show more

I purchased the olive green 96" panels originally after reading most of the reviews on here. I'd say the color is true to the picture in the description, whereas it appears to be lighter or muted in reviews provided. It was dark green in our home. My intention was to use these for our traverse curtain rods in our living room. These work well for a economical price point. I'd say 95% blackout during the highest point of sun rays. However, I exchanged these for the 90" length and realized the quality was much lower- also let more light in for what is supposed to be the same but shorter material and color. The material seemed to be somewhat thinner. Pros: This color was the only shade that did not have the black backing- same color all around. Price was the cheapest I could find. The heading tape on this is best for traverse rods and tracks where you use the hooks or prongs to create pleats. Heavy fabric but light enough for regular rods. Cons: Not good for running rods through. Must use a ring clips or hooks as the rod pockets seems to be made of monofilament threads. Quality inconsistent. Some panels are thinner. ... show more

These blackout curtains are amazing! In the photos they show a satin fabric, but they are definitely not satin and more of a thicker polyester fabric. Helped make a huge difference in heat in guest and living room! I purchased 3 sets and will be purchasing another.

I need five panels of 102 inch length curtains for my great room/dining room, which are open to each other. I was not a fan of these. There is no texture and they don't feel/look like curtains. The liner is black. The rings are cheap plastic. I didn't even unfold the curtain. Sending back and glad I only ordered one set to check them out first. ... show more

We were looking for 105" blackout curtains with tab-hanging method for our daughter's bedroom. These curtains do a great job blocking out the light and the size was just right. The main problem that we had is that the "tabs" on the back of the curtain for hanging is just a bunch of threads that look strong and similar to a dental floss consistency. The problem is that that the thread hang up and catch on any transitions that you may have on your curtain rod, so we were unable to close or open the curtains without getting on a ladder and releasing the threads from the transitions in the curtain rod. What we did to resolve the issue was to put tape over each of the thread groups (see pictures). Hopefully that will last. We would return these if we could find some tabs made of the curtain material that are beige and blackout, but that is hard to find and we have already mounted the rods at the height for 105in we are just going to keep these curtains. We have other curtains that are similar with tabs made of the same material as the curtain and they work perfectly. I would not recommend these curtains if you are planning on using the tab hanging method. ... show more
