The people complaining about how loud the unit is are ridiculous. It runs great, does its job. The unit doesn’t run any louder than a box fan on high. It’s white noise. Cools the room fast in 100•F weather. No complaints so far. Will update this review in a few weeks.

This product is amazing. Very cold. There are multiple settings and can set the temp that you want. It sounds like a hotel AC so it isn't too loud at all. The install was super easy. It was easy to install. I’m still don’t know what the drainage water is about yet and the thing that’s scary is the type that goes out to the window gets boiling hot and that is really weird but it calls beautifully. I live in Texas and work from home most days. My home office is on the front corner of our house and gets a lot of sun. My wife likes to keep the A/C set to 76 degrees, and in the summer, the home office is 80+ in the afternoon. Before I purchased this, I was using five different fans (six if you include the ceiling fan) to try and keep myself cool. I bought this portable window-vented A/C unit just over a year ago, in July 2023, and it has made a huge difference. Before, I would have to take breaks on the hottest days, just to go to a different room in the house to cool down. Now, I only have to take breaks when I actually need a break from work. The unit isn't small, but it's not obtrusive. My only complaint is that it's a bit loud--but the cold air feels great, so it's not a huge trade-off. If I have to be on a call, I'll turn it off with the remote, and as soon as I'm done, it's back on at the push of a button. As noted, I've had it for more than a year now, and it still works as well as it did on the day I first used it (knock on wood). I haven't had to drain it yet, but if that ends up being a huge hassle, I'll come back and edit this. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this purchase--well, maybe a little happier if it wasn't quite so loud, but I definitely think it was worth what I spent, and I would definitely buy it again. ... show more

I have had for 9 months and it quit working. It no longer blows cold air. I emailed my order receipt to company and they refunded my money. Worked great the first 9 months.

It cools down our apartment of about 1000 ft2 pretty quick. Obviously the living room where it’s at is a lot cooler than our bedroom down the hall but it works well and has lots of great features such as a timer, temp. control and it was very easy to set up. Had mine for almost a year now and I don't have anything bad to say about it. No leaking, no malfunctions, practically ready to go out of the box. The remote control works with ease, the air blows with force, it can cool AND dehumidify at the same time, only thing I could gripe about is the noise is a little louder than I'd expect but it's not that bad and if you like fan noise while you sleep, this is satisfactory. The media could not be loaded. I like this unit as it does quickly cool the room down. I can see the room temperature when i walk in. I turn it on and I see the desired temperature i have it set at which it will continue to cool until it gets to the temperature. When I turn it off I see the room temperature again. I wish they would have both the temp setting and the room temperature at the same time so I can see where it is at when cooling. The biggest dislike is how loud it is when running. It is not quite. The blower is very strong, has two setting low and high both produce about the same amount of sound. It was super easy to install. I did have to use my hack saw to cut part of the sliding window frame as it was too long. Once cut it was a perfect fit. Good for the price. ... show more
