This is my first weighted blanket. The blanket came in a vacuum-sealed bag, which was nice. I never had 15 lbs of blanket, or anything near that heavy on me when I sleep, so this does take some time to get used to. The blanket is not 60” x 80”. I measured my blanket at exactly 58” wide and 78” long. But the actual size doesn’t really matter because I like to have only my midsection covered while sleep. I sleep well as long as my stomach is warm. I didn’t want to use the blanket without putting it in a cover, so I can’t comment if it gets dirty or if the threads come apart. But so far it seems fine. I don’t know if it is because of the weight, but I toss and turn less when using this blanket during wintertime. If you never had a weighted blanket then it is a good idea to give this a try. ... show more

This blanket is great for sleeping. The weight of it helps me sleep faster and really reduces my anxiety when needed. I haven’t had to wash it either yet and it keeps it’s soft. The Sherpa feeling doesn’t get gross or bad.
