  • OUTSIDE MOUNT: Add 4"-5" width for a better light control effect and elegant look. If the outer width of window frame measures 35 1/2" or 36", then you should order the 40" option (which has a 40 headrail and 39" fabric part); No requirement for depth of window frame

I will say this, the ease of install as per the product, spectacular, the spot I had to install it, took a little umpf, but that isn't the company's fault ! I was slightly dubious about the opaqueness of the blinds, my question was "If it's see through here...how is it going to block?" .......So far so good! I placed my hand in between the shade and the window and I felt just how powerful and how well these blinds work! I love the company's dedication to child safety! While my child is old enough to act in safety, this company ensures that it provides child-proof (and almost adult-proof) strength to the cord rest. Sincerely, had to use a spoon handle to provide enough lift! I will purchase a second one for my other unique-sized window pane and eventually more for my dining room windows. Please stay affordable! I like these blinds they are very easy to install. The reason for the 4 stars is I had to return 1 because it would roll down on its own and now another one started doing it but the window for return is closed I've had it for about 2 months.

These zebra shades are doing the trick the only small irritating thing is that you have to pull the cord, the beaded cord quite a bit to get it to rotate up and down it just seems like it could’ve been geared a little better
