My wife and I put it in our bedroom after suffering from seasonal allergies and immediately noticed a difference every morning. Something as slight as knocking the dust off of curtains, the Shark recognizes the air quality (% value) and ramps up. Makes the room smell clean and definitely helps with morning stuffiness. Worth every penny. Haven't owned it long enough to perform maintenance but it appears simple. We also purchased a humidifier/vaporizer for our bedroom and it's a perfect combination to eliminate pollutants and negate the symptoms of dry air. ... show more

Easy set up! Works fast and I can tell the difference in our air quality especially in my bedroom. I bought 2 of these and worth the price. When I cook or even use perfume the air purifier does a great job in getting the air quality where it needs to be at 100%!

It’s a bit louder than previous reviews said, but works like a charm. We have a small home and it kicks on every time we cook. I’ve noticed a reduction in floating dust and dog hair. We bought 2 of the 1200 square foot purifiers. Plugged them in and we have been at 100% air quality. The house has zero odors and they are quiet. We are getting 2 new puppy’s in February and I am positive these will help with the dander.

I have been using this for over a year and works great. Filters are a little expensive, but I really like the unit. I just keep it on low in our bedroom. I am not crazy about the auto function because I hear it cycling. Low works great.

I’ve had this for about 9 months now and I regret spending so much money on this because it doesn’t work. The reader only ever shows that my air is 100% and I know it’s not. How do I know? It’s right by the bathroom and right by my dogs crates so there are a lot of stinky smells and it NEVER goes down. Then for the first time this week it went from 100% to 0% out of nowhere. No one used the bathroom, the dogs were not in the room, the closest person was 10+ feet away. It took about 2 hours for it to get back to 100%. Then it happened again the next day. The sensor wasn’t clogged and the filter had just been changed so I don’t know why it’s happened and the manual included in the package wasn’t even for the model I got so I haven’t figured out how to reset it yet. Speaking of filter though, I’m not sure why they built it this way but you have to turn the purifier upside down to change the filter and it’s not exactly a small thing. Maybe with the next model they can have it where you twist off the TOP and can put the filter in from it standing upright. Don’t buy ... show more
