Just a quick FYI. Make sure you beef up your hardware. I am very serious about that. Remember you are mounting a huge sail in the air which will fly away and rip off the side of your house. If you have any reservations at all, get a pro to do the installation. Onto the product itself. I have no issues with it. So far so good they look great. They’re going to stretch out a little so you’ll need to re-tighten in a couple days overall I was pretty happy with the product. However, this is really not the best and safest product on the market. The sails with cable completely around the perimeter are more of a commercial grade but are a absolute necessity for a permanent location. I live here in Florida and I have to have the wire version…for safety sake…So a lass …it will come down and a new one will go up. ... show more

May 2023 Have had it installed for several months. Had recent storm with over 3.5 inches rain. High winds brought down many tree branches throughout area. I didn't take my awning down and it survived all. It has sagged slightly, but easily fixed with use of turnbuckles. I was unable to install it high enough. Ideally should be about 10 feet off the ground on the high end. Good value for money. Once installed, should it get damaged it would be easy and inexpensive to replace. ... show more

For years we have had a sail over our deck, after seeing the value of these on vacation at various resorts. We needed to replace it. We purchased a cheap one and quickly replaced it after a year. We ordered this last year and my husband put it back up this spring. It's very durable and is great for cooling our deck. You have to ensure that you secure it down well and take the wind into consideration. But we are very happy with ours and had no problems last year when the winds were high.
