  • Great little pickup!
Color: White
Wow! What a sound, a full, strong throaty bridge sound! This has added wonderful lead sounds to my Duo Sonic that I've been modding. This pickup in the bridge is now paired with a Silver Lace sensor, single coil pickup in the neck and I have two fine worlds of both single coil and humbucker distinctive sounds. I am psyched and very pleased at the versatility and playability of my new Duo Sonic. Thanks Seymour for the Lil '59 , and Lace for the quiet and strong Silver Sensor. ... show more

  • Replace a Single Coil without routing
Color: Black
I have a Gibson Melody Maker with a single coil in the bridge position. I wanted to love this guitar, but I didn't like the hum and I wanted a little more out of it. The Lil 59 fit perfectly without routing the cavity and it sounds full. Hotter than the single, and an easy install. No damage to the guitar, so any value wasn't lost. ... show more

  • Very mid-heavy
Color: White
The pickup went in my ‘97 American Strat to replace the stock single coil. It looks great and was easy to install. When used on dirty/distortion, there’s so much midrange that I have to eq the heck out of it to sound good. Maybe it’s fine for most but I’m not a huge fan.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE this pickup
Color: Black
replaced an older Seymour Duncan hot rails in a project guitar. Suddenly had ALL the tone I had been missing. The humbucker is smooth and drives your amp easily. The split was the big surprise: very nice sounding single coil, very usable. Simply: this goes in all my project guitars from here on out.

  • NIce! - Warms up your Strat lead tone and still retains chime
Color: Black
I was looking to warm up my lead tone without routing the body of an older, nice Fender Vintage '57 Strat. With two Suhr Michael Landau's in the neck and middle positions, placing this Little '59 in the bridge position was a fortunate experiment for me. I was able to fatten up my lead tone and still retain some nice chime, especially in the second (out-of-phase) position. Is it as warm as a standard humbucker? No. But to me, it's just right - nice and clean with enough warmth to make the lead tone sing and outstanding for overdriven rhythm tones. ... show more

  • I love this pickup!
Color: White
I wish I had installed this pickup in my Strat years ago. Now my Squier Strat sounds better than all of my USA Strats. Mr. Duncan got this one right, nice work!
