This is the only "natural" cleaner that I have used that did not leave streaks on my counter tops. The others I have used (Method, Mrs Myers, Ecos, etc) all left major streaks. If you have a light colored counter top then the streaks may not be noticeable but on a black counter top like I have, the streaks are very noticeable. Glad to have this product as an alternative to toxic cleaners. It does a good job of cleaning and has a mild, tolerable scent that dissipates quickly. I took away one star because of the actual container itself. The spray er head is top heavy and when the bottle is low on cleaning liquid this tends to fall over super easy thus becoming a constant source of frustration. I contacted the company about that several years ago, hopefully they will make some necessary adjustments at some point. Overall great product at a good price. Do recommend! ... show more

Initially bought Mrs. Meyers cleaning spray to try as I was looking for a new, safer spray for my family and pets. 7th generation spray SAVED me after a horrible experience with Mrs. Meyers. I sprayed 7th generation and you could SEE THE CLEAN. This was huge for me as I have 2 kids, 3 pets, and own an inhome daycare. This spray makes me feel safe and good about what I'm using around my kids and pets. There are no smelly odors with the spray and no residue left behind. This cleaner is very good. Its has an amazing scent. I have a very hard time finding cleaners that work well and do not overwhelm with tge scent. This product hits every mark for me.

    • Cleans Extremely Well In Every Use So Far But Does Not Have A Citrus Scent
Scent: Lemongrass Citrus Size: 26 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
If you are more interested in having a citrus scent than getting clean whatever it is you are cleaning then this probably is not the cleaner for you. However, if cleaning is your first and foremost concern then this cleaner has delivered in every instance we have used it thus far. I cannot describe the scent, to me, it is not offensive, but if definitely does not have the strong citrus scent other similar cleaners have had. But when it comes to cleaning power, it has really delivered. The two most recent jobs we tackled with it were the screens off our windows. I usually spray them wet then spray the cleaner on them. Then using a sponge I wipe the cleaner over the screen and I have found the cleaned develops a nice suds unlike some reviewers have noted. After sitting for a few minutes I spray the screens clean and am done for another six months. The most impressive area of this cleaner's power was our living room picture window. Everyday, when the Sun is a hour or two from setting, it shines thru our picture window and you can easily see how dirty it has become, both inside and out. My Wife used a typical window cleaner, like Windex, on the inside while I used a combination of this Seventh Generation cleaner in a bucket of water. Then after wetting the window section down, I used a rag soaked in this mixture to wipe them from top to bottom. Then, using another bucket of clean water I rinsed each section and used a rag to dry it off. The next day we could see multiple streaks on several sections, my Wife assumed that it was the outside but upon closer examination we determined all of them to be on the inside. Not being critical of her cleaning ability but I will be critical of the cleaning power of typical window cleaner versus this cleaner. We used some of the Seventh Generation cleaner on the streaked areas on the inside and now we have a clear view of the Sun as it is getting ready to set each day. ... show more
