When it comes to kitchen cleanliness, especially in areas where food is constantly being prepared, the question always arises: how to find a product that can clean dirty surfaces easily? Ideally, it should be multifunctional, able to handle not only grease but also dirt or other types of messes. Lysol Pro Kitchen Cleaning Spray is just that kind of product. It comes in a standard plastic bottle with a simple on/off spray nozzle. The “Pro” label in the name of the cleaner subtly (or not so subtly) suggests that this is a powerful product. Plus, the manufacturer assures that it has antibacterial properties, which, as far as I understand, is a lingering echo of the post-COVID era. I wouldn’t say I’m particularly thrilled about that because the more it fights germs, the more chemicals the product contains. But I suppose it doesn’t hurt to have that feature. Let’s set aside our concerns about antimicrobial properties and get to how this spray handles kitchen grease. Through regular use, this spray has become an essential helper. Our housekeepers noted that it makes it much easier to deal with greasy spots on ovens and countertops. It easily removes both grease and residue, which is why it has become a daily tool in our cleaning arsenal. It’s also worth mentioning the smell. The scent is hard to describe, but it’s something fresh, clearly associated with cleanliness. At least it’s not overly chemical or unpleasant. I'm a longtime user of Lysol products to kill germs, viruses and bacteria. Natural plant-based cleaners don't do enough, so this is a "chemical cleaner" exception. It's the only non-natural kitchen cleaner brand that doesn't make me cover my nose or open all the windows. And the scent is quite bearable... to humans. Pets probably won't agree about the scent, because it's a chemically citrus smell. ... show more

    • Great for Regular Grease Removal NOT Build-Up

We cook a lot, and by we, I mean my husband. Our stovetop has always been messy and I work so many hours, I just don't keep up with it. Every so often, I make my husband do a huge scrub to get it clean from a lot of the oil build-up. Now that I'm retired, I plan to keep up with these chores so I cleaned the stovetop recently. It doesn't take long for the oil splatter & food drops to appear again. I sprayed down the surface with this cleaner & left it about 10 minutes while I did a couple of other things around the house. I usually clean with a waffle weave dishcloth because it's more abrasive for debris removal. I noticed that all of the recent oil & food spills wiped right off with a wet dishcloth. There were some old oil build-up areas that I didn't scrub yet, and this cleaner didn't do anything to remove them. So if you're looking for a product to do massive degreasing on build-up, this is not your product. But for regular maintenance in a clean kitchen, this degreases newer spills immediately :) ... show more
