The media could not be loaded. I liked everything about the chair. It was fairly easy to assemble. The instructions were clear and I love the fact that it came with the tools to put it together we used a battery operated drill to tighten everything but the first two out of eight I bought I did by hand before my husband got home and brought the drill out. I am writing an update of my recent customer service experience. The chairs were great all summer, but when we were folding the chairs to put them away for winter storage we had 2 small pieces that broke. I messaged customer service. Once again Lily responded, apologized for any inconvenience and arranged for replacement parts to be sent to our home. A few days later I received an email with the tracking information. In a couple of days we will have the new parts. That is great customer service!! We are planning to order more from them next spring!!!! I did a lot of research before purchasing these chairs. We wanted a chair that could fold for storage in the winter. I didn't think we would find a chair that would meet my expectations and also fold. We looked at a lot of chairs. I wanted a poly lumber that had a woodgrain and looked like wood. We are very happy with the chairs. We purchased 4 total. They are sturdy, heavy chairs that are good quality. I like the Serwall tag on the front. It is a nice touch. They were easy for my husband and myself to put together. 2 people working together make it easier to assemble. We took turns holding the parts and passing the tools side to side for faster assembly. I will confirm that there are pieces that are not predrilled as indicated in the instructions. We are not builders. We found it easy to mark and drill those holes. I am so happy with the chairs it wasn't an issue to do the extra steps. Those pieces that were predrilled were nicely drilled and made completing the assembly easy. We had an arm on one of the four chairs that was broken. We needed to use the chairs for a party so we went ahead and assembled the chair. After, I contacted customer service. Lily, the representative, was quick to respond, friendly and professional. They glady offered to replace the damaged part, no questions! I will receive the part soon. I have already received the tracking information. The blue chairs look beautiful in our yard along the lake shore! We have received many compliments!! I would definitely purchase another product from the Serwall Store. Update: Updating review. The seller was very responsive to my issue and communicated with me immediately to resolve. They sent two new parts ( to replace the broken bits) along with instructions on not over tightening the screw. Will change out the pieces and hope that solves the issue. Other chairs are working as designed. Would have rated a 5, however instructions are lacking in detail such as not over tightening, would recommend that they send more robust instructions ********************************** We purchased 4 of these chairs for a cabin rental. It took awhile to put the first chair together as a result of some confusion on one part of the directions. Once we figured it out, and used the tools recommended by others, the rest of the assembly went pretty quick. The problem is when trying to close one of the chairs, to store for the winter, 2 pieces broke, on the same chair, at the same point. The chair is now unusable as the structure cannot be trusted. To dissaemble the chair and return it is problematic as we no longer have the box, chair is super awkward and big and to find a box to fit will be challenging. We also have no Amazon pick up center in the northwoods and we had to leave to go home. We no longer trust closing the other 3 chairs, afraid they too will break. The ability to close them was a key part of our decision to purchase them as storage space is challenging. While the chairs are beautiful, we no longer trust the quality and question whether they will support our guests. Super disappointing ... show more

I was looking for chairs for our newly installed paver patio. A couple of my friends have traditional Adirondack chairs that while comfortable and appealing, complain every spring when the chairs need to be refinished due to our weather. So I did some research on alternative materials. I found these Serwall Adirondack chairs as my solution. They had good reviews and the price was nice. So I purchased two. The chairs were simple to put together for an old gal like myself. They came very well packaged and labeled. I took all of the pieces out of the box before starting, just to put them in order for easier access. It took me about 40 minutes for the first chair and only about 20 minutes for the second one. The instructions were straight forward. The diagrams were a bit misleading, as others have said. The guide showed predrilled holes on ALL of the connect points, but some were not. I found that it was very simple to screw in even if there was not a predrilled hole. I did use a 10mm socket on the nuts instead of using the enclosed wrench tool. The socket was much easier to maneuver with my arthritic hands. The chairs are very stable and comfortable. So far doing well in our Pacific NW weather. They match the soldier course on our new paver patio beautifully. Thank you! ... show more

These chairs are very sturdy. They are a great value for the money. They are heavy and have no problem in heavy wind. It was easy to assemble. The 1st one took an hour working alone. The 2nd one took about half the time.the color is true to the picture.
