I bought the king size 2 inch memory foam. It came packaged nicely in a zippered Serta bag. As all memory foam products are, it was highly compressed and tightly wrapped in plastic and looked way too small. After unwrapping and gently unfolding as much as possible I laid it on the bed to do its thing. Within 2 hours it had completely expanded and come to its full king size. Contrary to what some other reviewers have said I noted absolutely no odor. In fact, I immediately made up the bed and have been sleeping in it ever since. I can’t comment on the cooling effect because I bought it to put inside my older sleep number mattress to bulk it up. It has good firmness with the typical qualities of a memory foam. I’m very happy with it. I feel it’s going to extend the life of my sleep number even further as I’d already replaced the inner foam mattress pad on that. I have back issues and it has improved my sleep quality. It was a very good value for the price and I’m glad I got it. I would purchase it again and highly recommend. We bought a new highpoint sealy posterpedic mattress and a new foundation. I was miserable. I never hurt so much by just sleeping in all my life! I could barely get out of bed. I would have to do a roll over and push myself up. We bought the mattress from raymour so we had 90 days to exchange. I was really worried about doing that. I didn't know how many tines I could do it and I honestly didn't wany to go through the hassle. We decided to try this certain mattress topper. It is wonderful! I am not hurting anymore. It is comfortable and I look forward to going to sleep! You have to unroll and wait 48 hours to use so be sure you have somewhere other then your bed to pass those 48 hours. Slight odor but not noticeable once you have the protector and the sheets on. I love this product! I don't think it is cooling even though it says cooling. I am glad about that though. This topper is firm and very comfortable for my back. Its firm at first but is soft once layed on. I have a queen and for the price this is a really well made topper. Stayes in place with ease. I am writing this after just one very well rested night

It's cool initially when laying on it, but I can tell that it does help a little to wick away my bodies heat because it's not as hot as my original mattress without this product. It's sort of supportive of my weight, but not as firm as I would like it to be. There is no smell. Value is good and it fits well and does not slip off like a different pad I purchased. Good quality product but extremely firm for a foam topper, would be excellent if you prefer that type of sleeping surface but definitely not for me. Made me lose feeling in my extremities woke up feeling like I’d been in a car wreck. Ordered the Twin XL and it fit my son’s dorm mattress perfectly. Great comfort and fit. We’ve got one in use on an older IKEA mattress in a guest room (Queen size) which our guests mentioned is super comfortable when using it. The ones we have are the cooling foam, it works well for that. We use it under a standard fitted sheet. We did go to a deeper/talker sheet set so this fits the bed top and the sheet doesn’t pull up on the ends or sides. My son lays his under the thin mattress cover and under his fitted sheet, more for padding then the cooling effect. Decent price at the time we bought it, (in August 2024), Amazon had much better pricing than at local stores. It arrived folded but popped back up into the proper shape and size, once opened and laid out on the bed for a few hours. ... show more
