I bought the bike as a means of alternate transportation as apposed to driving 3 miles to work. I've put 26 test miles on the bike. Full throttle can give you 27 to 30 mph. It cruises over everything fairly well. Pedal assist is a great feature for long distance rides. The motor controller has a "walk beside" feature and cruise control. The lights are bright enough to see where you're going at night. If you are considering this bike, get the bigger battery if range is an issue. Over all, it is a fun bike to ride and practacle for light errands. **Update**- 290 miles later and the bike is still a good ride. Deeper evaluation: I jumped ramps at the skate park, toured the city, and dumped it several times because of stupid drivers. It is tough, durable, dependable, and still performs well. The battery seems to lose 20% of it's capacity sooner than normal. But it is a great bike for the money. ... show more

Been researching an E bike for myself for months. I’m a big guy 6’6” and 315 lbs. I’ve tried some locally available bikes and found them to be underwhelming. I read about the Senada Saber and the reviews seemed very promising, so I took a chance on it. So glad I did!! Absolutely love this bike. Very comfortable to ride. Plenty of power. I’ve had this bike for about 5 months. I love riding it. Very fun. However it has been one headache after another. First, after just 120 miles of accumulated ride time, the control panel went out. Senada was helpful in diagnosing the problem and sending the replacement part. It took a few weeks to arrive, which was disappointing. After replacing the control panel, the headlight started malfunctioning. It would turn off every time I activated the brake. I was told to replace the control box too. Just today, the rear fender broke free from its mount while I was riding at 15-20 mph. It slid under the rear tire and I had to bail in the middle of the road. Fortunately I was not in traffic or I would have been a goner. I removed the fender to continue riding home, but now the control panel is showing and error 02, and the motor is not working. Great bike. I had an issue but the customer service took care of me. The bike is quiet and strong. I live up some really big hills and the pedal assistance takes me right up. I'm 6'4" and this bike works for my height just fine. The only thing I would recommend is to upgrade the brakes to hydraulic ones. The bike is fast, 28 MPH, and heavy. Well when got bike battery was bad they worked with us and sent us a new battery for bike since the one on bike did not work right. These people worked with us and repaired bike . This is the absolute minimum, and in this case also the max ammount of money you should spend on a e-bike. Any thing less then 1000w you will NOT be satisfied, and will waist your money. If you can't afford this product then just wait till you can because nothing beats it. This was my first E-bike and couldn't be more pleased! My first ride was 16 miles and battery never dropped one bar. Plenty of power and only used #2 pedal assist level and got a good workout. Has taillight, brake lite and turn signals. Alot heavier than my regular bike but I guess that comes with the territory. So far great bike for the price.
